American rancher kulsks literally planting landmines so they don't have to spend slightly more money on more appropriate methods to keep coyotes at bay is quite the headline.
Should we get some alpacas or mules? No! We'll plant fucking chemical gas mines at random all over the countryside!

Fun fact, coyotes are important for controlling prairie dog populations; prairie dogs are also a cattle nuisance because they compete for forage. So then the ranchers want to poison all the prairie dogs. Just defaunate the whole countryside.
