I think theres some confusion in these comments. The song is criticizing German society for being too anti-zionist, so the last line is saying civilians in Gaza are the literal shields of Hamas and the figurative shields of Germans ("descendants of Jew gassers") to mask their anti-semitism behind humanitarian concern. Like, "Germans only pretend to care about Palestine so they can hate Jewish people!"
