Hey I just got a 2022 EUV (LT trim but it did have leather+vented/heated)

Did you have a tutorial for disabling the OnStar?

Okay thanks for that

Electrical stuff, at least that's what's in my frunkless EV. Coolant tanks. Etc.

There's enough space though that Im pretty sure they could've made a shallow frunk, with a few deeper pockets.

Sure, and I can see that being a difference between accelerating very slowly vs flooring it and flooding the motor with 150kw. But I still wonder if it's significant between holding 20-25kw for several seconds vs 50-60kw for only a couple seconds.

Hey there,

I recently acquired my first EV and have been having fun trying to get the best efficiency numbers out of it. I was at ~3.5mi/kWh (5.6km/kWh), but by slowing down and taking the other road not the highway to work I got it up to 4.4mi/kWh (7.08km/kWh). Part of that was accelerating relatively slowly as this is one tip that I heard. But I've been thinking about it and from a simple physics calculation it should take basically the same amount of energy to accelerate an object to highway speed whether you do it very quickly or if you spread that energy over a longer period of time.

Does anyone have any insight? I don't mind granny accelerating but if I can have the zippy fun of accelerating an EV while still staying efficient that would be awesome too :)

Thanks!

I really don't mind a pdf menu

What's wrong with a pdf menu

If you accelate hard, drive fast, etc, you get lower gas mileage.

So if you drive 1000 miles per month, and you're getting 25 miles per gallon, then at $4/gallon you're paying $160 for gas a month. If you ease up and can average like 32mpg, you'll only spend $125. Better results may be possible.

I just crave the carbonation. Zero sugar or even just sparkling water is good by me.

The postwar neutering of Germany and Japan must be undone. The defanging of Germany was an overcorrection for which Europe is now paying a heavy price.

Lyrics:

We have a poem here, it's called "Whitey On The Moon" It was inspired by some whiteys on the moon So I wanna give credit where credit is due

A rat done bit my sister Nell With whitey on the moon Her face and arms began to swell And whitey's on the moon

I can't pay no doctor bills But whitey's on the moon Ten years from now I'll be payin' still While whitey's on the moon

The man just upped my rent last night Cause whitey's on the moon No hot water, no toilets, no lights But whitey's on the moon

I wonder why he's upping me? Cause whitey's on the moon? Well I was already giving him fifty a week With whitey on the moon

Taxes taking my whole damn check Junkies making me a nervous wreck The price of food is going up And as if all that shit wasn't enough:

A rat done bit my sister Nell With whitey on the moon Her face and arm began to swell And whitey's on the moon

Was all that money I made last year For whitey on the moon? How come I ain't got no money here? Hmm! Whitey's on the moon

Y'know I just 'bout had my fill Of whitey on the moon I think I'll send these doctor bills Airmail special To whitey on the moon

When they first broke it was hell. Not exactly suicidal but sometimes when driving the call of the void would get louder.....

But back then I couldn't get treatment setup. I was a truck driver and always moving. Dentists hours were hard to hit and they always told me it would take multiple visits - but by then I'd be across the country.

Then they... stopped hurting. Even when I got a local job it was low priority. I knew it was a problem but eh.... Bills to pay. I took a qtip twice daily and scooped out anything caught in there.

Until recently when they started hurting again. Got setup with a local dentist. Got them out and a few fillings too. Price wasn't as bad as I thought and I don't know why I let it go on so long.
