would you be wrong for "finding it rude" simply because your friend didn't?

is it acceptable for them to justify themselves just going "lol boring" if they meant it for the topic and not you? like, should you magically no longer feel hurt anymore?

are you in the wrong for saying how just saying "lol boring" hurts you and requesting for them to say it more differently? that you're just being defensive?

all while they claim how you're "blaming them for everything", want them to change themselves to please you, to force themselves to "enjoy what you're talking about", to not be able to dislike topics when 1. you didn't say any of this, 2. you just wanted them to be more nice/compassionate and considerate of your feelings.

like, i'm sure we can all agree that there are better ways to say that what the person is talking about doesn't really interest you all that much but they can keep going if they want. or hell, just not mentioning at all and just listening to them.

i feel like literally any of this would be better instead of just going "lol boring" and get all defensive about it and accuse you of being defensive all you did was expressing hurt and wanting them to say it differently.

don't fucking lecture me by saying that i "don't need others to validate me since i'm already a woman" or that "i don't ACTUALLY need others to validate/affirm me, i can do it myself".

like yes i can do that but it fucking hits different when someone else says that. especially if it's someone close to you.

but apparently it's too hard for some people to tell a trans woman in need that they'll "always be a woman". even if you explicitly fucking request that. even if that someone is your partner who also happens to be a trans woman.

apparently according to her i don't need anyone else "to tell me that" because "i'm already a woman"

i hate this constant dismissal of what i need. just tell me what i want and i'll get out of your fucking way.

makes me wonder what's the point of having friends/partners even is when you can't even depend on rely on others and ALWAYS GOTTA FUCKING DO EVERYTHING YOURSELF to get what you want

they have been (for whatever reason) studying about wars currently going on in the middle east since apparently brazil doesn't document on this enough, as well as reading up on zionism. they've been seeing "a LoT oF eXtReMiSm FrOm BoTh SiDeS" and assured me that they weren't trying to "question in defense of zionism because they don't know everything about the subject and that they are just a student seeking further information about it"

i was already thinking of:

  • showing them pictures of disgusting zionist settler colonialists sitting on roofs watching IOF genocide and bomb on palestinians live
  • showing them pictures of the barbarianism committed by the IOF (stuff like them descerating a lifeless palestinian's body? wearing a bra on their genocidal missions? idk, pics of them had surfaced on lemmygrad some months back)
  • that one video where a zionist settler-colonialist goes "if i don't steal it, someone else will" to a native palestinian
  • a news article where despite having the deeds to the house, zionist settler colonialists just up and start living on the palestinian's house and kick them out
  • mention how the IOF murdered palestinian babies and pulled an US by expanding more than they were permitted to
  • mention that it's pretty disgusting/insensitive to paint this as a case of "extremism from both sides" when it's clearly about a group of oppressed people being genocided on their own lands finally fighting back against the show of power they've been doing for the past decades. (i wonder if they'd ask "further proof" of this)
  • show proof about the zionist project's existence being only a recent thing over palestine's, which had existed for a long time (though i wonder if they'd try to pull the bible verse about "israelis" and shit)

is there anything else i'm missing here? or am i good to go?

people are already making jokes about america in the comments section lmao

...of course, some also felt the need to drag the pride flag in it as well :/

like America ever cared about queer people

oh right, I forgot, people kissing people of the same gender and people wanting to change their gender is western American imperialism to these people! ...somehow

idk, I thought it was weird and funny lol
