Mines a lapdog and he has no desire to chase anything. He doesn’t pay attention/has no interest, he just wants to sniff brick walls. He’s really good at stoping to cross the street and keeping close to me when we do. He’s really great at “leave it” indoors and outdoors.

My dogs pretty good. I trained him when he’s a puppy and he listens when we do things together (ie: on a walk, leave it for food, trim his hair) but when he’s free to do whatever he ignores all commands. I’ve just accepted that he’s stubborn, and really it doesn’t matter because when it counts he listens. That’s all I care about.

My shit was so not together that I had to come up with my own framework of managing my shit. If you reach your bottom I suspect you’ll do the same.

Pretty much - groupings, relationships (I mostly think in relationships), models, whatever the data tells me it is - sometimes it’s cause and effect, mindmap, an analogy that I literally draw out and label, flow chart, hierarchy, model whatever. The most helpful ones I save elsewhere and add to it from future journals.

As I write I circle emotions. I underline keywords, I highlight examples. Then when I’m ready I go back and piece them together.

i'll worry about it if and when it happens. i have wasted too much time, energy and resources worrying and catastrophizing about things i cannot control.
