How the hell is that related? Those lads were merely showing a circle can be made with numerous stiff rods, a precursor to calculus. It has nothing to do with ancient terrors, god-like turtles or traumatized children having a gangbang in a sewer after killing what they thought was a supernatural clown. For shame!

This gives me vague recollections of childrens books.

Agree; however, I do support it being available for people who wouldn't be able to afford that, even if 12USD doesn't seem like much often that's all they have and would probably be better off buying food with it. This way they can play it on their shitty laptop that was given to them by some charity and not starve to death. In those circumstances, it might just be the only thing that keeps them alive.

I rather would have liked to have any number of lenses on my camera except the RF 200-800, but to be fair I was planning on looking at birds. As usual. Sometimes you've just got to dance with who you brung. That lens' minimum focal distance turns out to be about three and a half feet. This is perhaps not so much of a handicap if you can't be bothered to bend over.

This is probably an Eastern American Toad, Anaxyrus a. americanus. But what do I know from toads, or even frogs for that matter.

I don't want to use this new shipment. Every time I drink it I think I'm going to get diabetes, then die of poisoning and be used as content for a Chubbyemu video.

I think they added a type of sugar that tastes extremely sweet and doesn't affect the users blood sugar. Well, the extreme sweetness is exactly that, extreme. And for me at least, it always has the after taste of drinking some sort of solvent, as if I was drinking soap or some sort of chemical contaminated the glass I drank out of.

I have to force myself to drink it now, like taking cough syrup. I have a day trip coming up and I'm not looking forward to shoving this crap down my gullet whenever I'm hungry. My subscription just renewed today as well... x_x

I loved Soylent, it was the perfect replacement. Easy to make, easy to pack, tasted fine.

Then they added something to it that made it taste disgustingly sweet with an after taste of chemicals. Every time I drink it now I think I'm going to get diabetes and then die of poisoning. Before this I could drink like it was a nice latte, or a cold cup of water on a hot day. But now I have to force it down like cough syrup. It was perfectly fine before, why did they have to change it?

I suppose they were listening to people that ate sweets and smoked cigarettes and complained that soylent tasted like nothing.

Like, I can't overstate how awful it tastes... it's like drinking two cups of melted ice cream with a touch of floor cleaner. What the hell is wrong with them? Did they even test it before shipping it out? I guess they paid people to taste test it which is the dumbest thing to do because that's just paying people to say "Yes, I love it! Five stars!".

It's almost as if the company is controlled by only a few people which opens them up to all sorts of cognitive biases as their world view is warped by their wealth and limited contacts outside their peer group who have similarly warped world views.

I'm hungry now, and even though I have Soylent I can make in less than a minute, I might have to spend a hour or so to... cook food. OH NO. (but actually because my shitty rental has a shitty gas stove with a shitty extraction fan so the whole place smells sour and gross for hours after someones cooked)

Eight chronological screenshots from Twilight when Bella tells Edward she knows he's a vampire | Bella and Edward are walking through a foggy forest with cowboy hats on:

Bella: Yer' quicker than a hot knife through butter.
Yer' paler than a ghost.
And you? 17? I ain't buyin' it.
I reckin' I know what yer' affliction is.

Edward: Say it wit' ya whole chest!

Bella: Got' dang vampire.

Edward: And what do you 'spose we feast on?

Bella: I'd gather it ain't shrimp n' grits.

Swimming among the corals of the Great Barrier Reef is a fish that could be a doppelganger for the famous Sesame Street character Mr. Snuffleupagus. This bright orange-red, hairy, long-snouted ghost pipefish is a new species that has been hiding in plain sight for years, often confused with other ghost pipefish.

Massive volumes of digital data are generated every day from AI training, big data analytics and smart devices. As conventional hard drives and cloud storage are increasingly constrained by high costs, limited capacity, high power consumption and short lifespans, molecular data storage has emerged as a breakthrough storage alternative.
