Sorry to ask for more help but this month is just proving to be a real challenge and problems keep coming. I'm still waiting for my disability benefit backpay and will still be thousands of pounds in debt when I finally get it due to a year and a half of interest payments as I lived off credit until it was maxxed out while i fought my disability appeal.

As you may know my landlady has gone away to be with her sick daughter. The daughter has now developed blood clots in her arms on top of everything else so she'll be gone a while. This means I have to manage alone. My grocery costs have skyrocketed because of this, not only do I have to pay to have them delivered as I now have nobody to drive me anywhere, but my landlady helps me with food preparation when necessary, things that I have trouble doing myself due to my disabilities like peeling, chopping etc. So right now I have to buy preprepared food which is more expensive. I'd prefer to wait until the end of the month before asking for help again, but I just don't think I can make it much longer without some extra food aid.

I have also received a date for my next foot surgery and it's on the 29th of this month as I was able to get a cancellation. I need to buy the supplies for this again as the NHS don't pay for them. I need two packs which each contain a shower boot (to keep the dressings dry after the surgery) and some dressings (as the dressings need to be changed daily). These packs are now £44 each so that's £88 in total for that, and I need a few other small items like iodine liquid and patches, and I hoped to get some anaesthetic gel to apply before the injections. And I need some more laundry disinfectant (to help prevent the surgical sites getting infected), which is £10.79 a bottle now. Overall about £150 is how much I need, and I really need to raise it before the 29th of this month. If anyone can help with this via paypal please PM me for the email address.

DAY 6 UPDATE: The weekend storm flooded my living area again sadly, on the upside though, I had a friend pitch in some funds, so with what she was able to do and what the kind comrades were able to here a few days ago, I am only $150 away from paying the neighbor to repair this damn roof on my tipout. I live on a mountain side in a fifth wheel with a tip out and we frequently have pretty bad rainstorms. Well, yesterday evening we had the worst one since I've been there. I wasn't home, but came home that evening to see the aftermath.

I opened the door and the roof had completely fallen in, well, it's the thin material that overlays a foam board and plywood, the week before the foam board had fallen in, but I have barely been able to even cover rent and figured it could wait until this summer when I can start a second job.

That side of the tip out has no covering at all thin or otherwise, and the tarp had fallen in with probably 7-8 gallons of water and spilt more all over the floor. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried shoveling the water out with a bucket, which worked until part of the tarp fell down and flooded all that water into my living room and dining area. Basically I had to push it out with a mop until the floor was only partially wet and then mop the rest up with all of my towels.

Now, I basically have a skylight where, if it rains like that again, and most likely will, will just pour all the rain unhindered into my place and I have no way to pay for it to get fixed anytime soon which is super bad for my living room area.

The neighbor is a carpenter and said he'd do it for $350, materials and labor, but there's no way I can swing that anytime in the next month, I'm barely covering rent with my pay as it is.

So, if you comrades could help me out I'd be much obliged, I don't want my place to be a swimming pool again lol

look.... my own life is in shambles, but I just spoke to my mother, who is disabled, on long term disability, and seriously does not have enough money to afford healthy meals let alone a move. The landlord has stopped being "cool" and is now making serious threats re: eviction

she would not survive a homeless stint.

My extended family are the types of pieces of shit that have become really, really bad people in the chud era and they are in lockstep about her somehow deserving what happened to her, or gaslighting her about the severity of her disability
