MODERATORS
The keeping her laptop thing is unfortunately the norm in western countries. They can't just copy the hard drives and give it back, they have to keep the "evidence" for the entire duration of the "investigation".
It's sick. "You can beat the rap but you can't beat the ride". The pigs can destroy your life just because you came under suspicion.
Tell me about it. In the US they can seize any cash you have and hold it indefinitely without trial - one more reason to go cashless I guess.
They can accuse your cash of a crime, then you have to prove that your cash didn't do crimes, and since that's stupid and impossible the cops just pocket it and use it to buy more cop toys. It's like the second largest dollar amount of theft after wage theft. utterly disgusting. They're literally highway robbers, excelt it's legal.
