Imagine a terrifying world where we are all ruled by monsters of every stripe. And not hot ones like werewolves, but instead decaying zombies and mummies who are both insensitive to, and actively benefit from the immense suffering they cause on a daily basis. The top echelon of society, filled with profit-seeking, bloodsucking vampires. And the worst of it is that they repeat on a daily basis that what they are doing is not only just, but there is no other possible way to do it.

Resources For Understanding The War
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

This guy is a fucking nitwit. Normally I wouldn't highlight chud bait on fox news but I think it is notable because this guy, MacGregor makes fairly regular appearances with some of the right wing milblogger types such as Scott ritter, alexander mercouris, Andrei martyanov, and Larry Johnson. Worth noting who those people find credible if you choose to read/watch them.
I will repeat the same comment for some time now. These people we only even bother giving attention is because they put themselves into the position of opposing NATO/Ukraine. A position that should be a principled leftist position. Instead we had this vacuum, almost every "leftist" too afraid to say the bare minimum "no I wont support an openly neo-nazi state" because it would be a damn shame if opposition to Ukraine was mistaken for support for Russia.
A reminder that supporting Russia is not necessary, just admitting Ukraine is a neo-nazi infested "dump" and that there were opportunities for peace, in fact NATO didn't rescue Ukraine, they literaly trained, provided weapons and prepared them for war. Yet the same liberals wrote articles years ago about Ukraine being the most corrupt EU country too.
So that is why they're useful, because they were the only ones providing reasonable commentary that was even skeptical of the pro-Nato narrative. Everyone understands they're right wingers.
In any case I'd point out Mercouris already had Chomsky on his show months ago too, I think if we had more actual famous leftist politicians/celebrities adopting an anti-Nato stance perhaps they would appear as guests instead of some lunatic Trump chud that happens to say the correct line about NATO.
For whats worth the only people on that list I would vouch for being "acceptable" level of brainworms(of course with CW that some are conservatives so they'll say cringe at times) is Mercouris, Brian(New Atlas, he started much earlier doing China content) and Scott Ritter.
