IMO its all but officialy confirmed now.

"Our traditional, historically friendly relations, which have travelled the tested path of history, today ... are rising to a new level of relations of invincible military comradeship," she told Lavrov, praising the role played in this by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin. She said Pyongyang had no doubt that under Putin's "wise leadership" the Russian army and people would "achieve a great victory in their sacred struggle to protect the sovereign rights and security interests of their state."

"And we also assure that until the day of victory we will firmly stand alongside our Russian comrades," she said.

Choi Song-hee DPRK Foreign Minister right now in a meeting with Lavrov.

If you expect some PR photo of DPRK soldiers with a flag all saying fuck Ukraine/US geolocated in Kursk then that will take a while. But maybe front line reports as soon as they're deployed.

The Russians only officially deflected and the DPRK doesn't actually give a fuck whether you believe them or not.

Meeanwhile this is what the Russians are saying at the UN https://t.me/Slavyangrad/111977

Even if we imagine that everything our Western colleagues claim about military cooperation between Russia and the DPRK suddenly turns out to be true, why are the United States and its allies trying to impose on the whole world the rotten logic that they have the right to help the Zelensky regime, mobilizing all their military and intelligence potential for this, while Russia's allies do not have the right to do this? — said Vasily Nebenzya.

From denial to compromise? If our enemies can have unofficial allies so can we.

People are expecting "evidence" but Russia/DPRK got nothing to gain by announcing all of this in advance, its literaly the opposite of what you should do. Let the west struggle with whether Ukraine is lying again while they get everything ready.

The real concerning events are regarding what SK is willing to do in response. Again as before there was no reason for SK to suddenly join this war if it triggers DPRK to do the same.

In fact I don't think the US got anything to gain. Look Biden now saying he'll authorize deep strikes into Russia or something like that. You see the issue was never the "excuse"(US doesn't need excuses, look at Gaza) but the facts regarding US weapons productions and the simple fear of Russian retaliation. If they stop fearing Russian retaliation then this is escalation. The bigger picture is to ask why create more dangerous escalation with Russia/DPRK now when Israel is willing to go to war with Iran?.

The answer imo should be the simplest explanation. DPRK signed an alliance with Russia. Russia is willing to go to WW3 in East Asia and in exchange Russia suggested DPRK help in Ukraine for both sides benefit(more rear troops for one, more training for the other), meanwhile both sides get useful economic and military cooperation. We'll see what is the US response, most likely nothing, but SK may get aggressive.

Specially true because even if you take a naive stance(e.g Hasan) that Putin bad and war is unjustifiable it still doesn't follow that it was a war for conquest of Ukraine, it doesn't matter our opinion on Feb 20th 2022, we know what happened in the months followed, we know Russia tried to negotiate and settle for those territories and it was Ukraine/US that refused.

Its frustrating because even if you want to die on this Putin bad hill you can still reconcile with the idea that the unconditional surrender is a better outcome than literaly fighting for the last Ukrainian, the main point being it is only going to get worse not better which is exactly the opposite of what the entire western MSM claimed(another red flag) throughout, the idea that Ukraine was fighting for a better negotiating position is insane.

There is like half a dozen Rand corp papers on their own public website explaining how the US strategy to arm Ukraine is to aggressively counter Russia anyway, its all there in the open.

The empathy that Gaza deserves leaves no room for other people even if they aren't complicit in upholding the genocide.

Careful with this rhetoric, get away with it because lol lmao even who cares about westerners right but understand that you'll not be saying this 20 or 30 years from now as climate change will kill far more than even a complete genocide of Gaza.

Probably nothing to do with Ukraine? On some basic googling people say they tried for years to ban DJI(Chinese competitor) in the US? This may just be retaliation?

They're spending 500k a year on lobbying and the ban just passed recently, seems hard to argue this got anything to do with Ukraine imo.

If I step away and look at this incredibly naively I do think it is slightly heartwarming that someone with a massive global reach is out there and trying to create a mascot with a message of hope, cooperation, friendship etc.

But then I'd have to stop smoking shit and realize its also possibly one of the worst institutions in human history. Somehow that makes it worse than if they had not bothered in the end. Even the most childish naive good shit comes from the worst people imaginable.

Now are the the stock prices shrinking because of policies that have lead to wealth redistribution? I don't know.

Not by a long shot lol. Financial markets operate through the logic of mainstream economic theory and both western and Chinese markets convinced themselves that the real estate "crisis" is a real problem.

That was a double attack together with the earlier months of western political economic figures bashing China over "unfair" competition and "overcapacity". The result is unfortunately the CPC listened and ended gaslighting themselves into believing there was a real consumption crisis about to happen. Again sadly no Marxist remotely agreed with this.

The reality is that some of the problem is due to the global economic crisis with basicaly the entire world except the US(who avoids this by absorbing EU capital) and China having terrible growth or even entering recession in the EU. But you see the western hypocrisy doesn't give a shit if Germany or Britain crashes, its only the CPC that must repent if they don't keep up with their magical growth promises.

The narrative was "China produces too much" therefore "there must be consumption incentives". No consideration is given to consumption of Chinese exports abroad e.g China "overproduces" green energy stuff because nobody else is investing in it and the US is literaly willing to ban Chinese imports than to use the opportunity to consume these products at the current lower prices.

The policies themselves nobody actualy cares, the structural control of the CPC or their dual circulation model etc none of that is at stake(yet?), it was just gaslighting after "bad" data that gave too much credit for neoliberal mainstream theory and unfortunately the CPC isn't willing to compromise with unorthodox policies this time around.

This is correct and its not doomerism imo, these clowns were praising Kissinger when he died and as much as a great leader Xi may be(and he definitely is a key factor to China's success) the collective leadership clearly didn't give a shit about the consequences of the Xi-Biden meeting.

They clearly thought the photos of the Chinese diaspora waving him was worth more than actual practical reality of what that was meant to accomplish and the message it sends. Go meet with top western capitalists with what hope?

The hope that they invest in China but bow to CPC? 12 months later its the same CPC doing liberal fiscal incentives for improving "investor sentiment". Its a clown joke.

China has talked and acted in favor of liberal international order nonsense. Whatever deeply held conspiracy they may have about "Communism by 2050" or whatever doesn't align with their actions imo. I can certainly cope with this dream, but it is a dream.

If there is a bright side is like it or not Chinese nationalists will be a problem the more the CPC compromises with the west.

I'm not too optimistic and I don't dare set unrealistic expectations anymore, even Russia doesn't have a perfect defense against Ukrainian missile strikes/drones etc and the US got 3 years of complete surveillance data to understand how Russia operates them.

Its a formidable system, but it wont stop Iran from getting hit in vulnerable places anymore than it stops Russia from getting hit sometimes.

Its funny when they always quote the cost of saving the planet and ourselves.

As if someone will always say

"Yes it would cost 5 trillion green bucks , geez I guess that's too much. You know I think I prefer the entire human extinction and destroing the planet for millions of years sorry not sorry."

I kind of believe we're fucked for small reasons like this, every single time, without fail, actions necessary to save ourselves are measured and justified based on some material cost.

If evil communist Cuba is so bad they'll collapse themselves why is it necessary for the US to continue a 60 year embargo?

So that you're aware WTI Oil futures on the NYMEX closes trading on Friday 22:00pm UTC and the attack is reported to start at around 22:30pm. They've obviously avoided any oil or nuclear infrastructure.

If Iran did take the bait and immediately retaliated into an open war I think it is definitely possible for oil to reach '22 levels and that is certainly one way to lose the election on the 11th hour. I don't believe its possible for oil to go that high in any other scenario though.

So its obviously prudent to avoid this risk.

I just got this randomly by the algo lol. I know nothing of him or his channel.

Despite the bad introduction he gets there about 10-15 minutes in. Of course there is no reason to watch a random guy talk for 40 minutes but I do think it is kind of bittersweet, personally I liked that he cares about the dog.

The ultimate reason? American healthcare is demoralizing even for people who are the top of the elite experts in their field. Some of them end up deeply unhappy, traumatized even. The contradictions are obvious, so extremely obvious its not just impossible not to notice but not feel bad about it.

Moral of the story? Most people are not privileged enough to just quit but if you find yourself in this situation and you can do it, actually consider it. This capitalist world isn't worth your personal sacrifice, no matter how good your intentions.

A long endorsement of open source software before announcing he will be making Godot tutorials now.

Might be a good incentive to switch or try out game dev if you're new btw.

I prefers the term of Dialectical Materialism simulator.

It’s a fantasy game for closet commies, as HOI IV is for closet Nazis or Wehraboos in the end

I'm not bothering to read much of this(500 comments?), but after a few minutes quick glance its the usual fairly above average positive response as usual.

I wonder if it is because with the game becoming less popular again most of the mainstream is gone already.

WW2 poster Wiki

22 December 2023 Amazon may no longer sell its own wifi routers in Germany, as they infringe a Wifi 6 patent from Huawei. This was decided by Munich Regional Court last week following the oral hearing. The ruling does not affect the sale of third-party wifi routers via the Amazon platform.

Two European subsidiaries of Amazon and Eero – a manufacturer of wifi routers also owned by Amazon – have infringed European patent EP 3334112 and may now no longer sell Wifi-6-capable products in Germany. The Regional Court Munich handed down this ruling on December 15, on the same day as the hearing.

Huawei had sued for injunctive relief, information and accounting, destruction, recall and damages (case ID: 7 O 10988/22).

However, the ruling only affects wifi routers that Amazon and Eero manufacture themselves, such as the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k. Other manufacturers may continue to sell their products via the Amazon platform.

Potential damages Huawei can enforce the judgment against a security deposit totaling €4.5 million. Amazon may appeal against the judgment, and this is considered likely. However, the court has not justified its surprisingly quick decision in writing yet. According to JUVE Patent information Amazon has not yet filed an appeal.

If the ruling stands, Amazon would have to compensate Huawei for the damages it has suffered since 19 March 2020. According to JUVE Patent information, Amazon has not thus far filed a nullity action against EP 112, but has concentrated on the FRAND defence.

Four claims against Amazon The judgment is part of a larger dispute over Wifi 6 patents. Huawei has also sued Amazon over another Wifi 6 patent in Munich (case ID: 7 O 10987/22). The court will hear this case in March 2024. In Düsseldorf and Munich, Huawei sued Amazon over a Wifi 5 patent, but the courts have not yet set a date for the oral hearing.

Huawei is also taking action against Fritzbox manufacturer AVM with two infringement suits at the Regional Court Munich. In November, according to press reports the court ordered AVM to cease and desist. The court was of the opinion that Wifi-6-capable AVM products infringed Huawei’s EP 3 337 077. AVM has since appealed against the ruling.

In addition, Huawei sued other companies such as Netgear and automotive group Stellantis. The Chinese company sued the former at Düsseldorf Regional Court. Huawei sued Stellantis back in 2022 over mobile phone patents that play a role in car connectivity. The Netherlands-based company manufactures about six million cars a year under the Fiat, Opel, Peugeot and Citroën brands.

Huawei turns to UPC While Huawei only sued Amazon and AVM in German patent courts, the Chinese company escalated its dispute with Netgear to the Unified Patent Court in July. Previously, Huawei had not had much success at Düsseldorf Regional Court. The court had dismissed one of Huawei’s lawsuits and suspended the second.

Huawei’s lawsuit at the Munich local division was one of the first SEP proceedings at the new court (case ID: ACT_459771/2023). According to the website www.upc.beetz.nl Netgear recently has filed a counter claim of revocation with the UPC.

Where are the "but but ze seeseepee only steals our technology!111!!" responses now lol.

This is You're Not Old Enough for an i9 the video.

Actual good comment I like

For a document like this to go out, it has to go through multiple stages of approval… that’s nuts to think about

Yep, forget for a moment all the Marxist analysis you'd normaly do about capitalism and just think of examples like this, this is one of the best examples of collective narcissistic disorder or something, either someone at the top was realy invested to get this presentation done like this or "marketing" is realy just code word for the psychopath department.

“It seems like every cycle we say that and we kind of mean it but this time I think we are in a category change where I believe the United States and the way that we think about ourselves as a nation has not been in danger like this since 1865. I think the only comparable moment to this was the Civil War,” he tells The New Abnormal co-host Danielle Moodie.

No real consequences though, still fucking rich and will still get another job elsewhere but maybe they can get someone less ghoulish this time. Yeah no.
