Israel trying to pass the hospital bombing off as Palestine doing it is utterly disgusting and guarantees Netanyahu a spot in the deepest pit of Hell for all eternity, obviously, but do not forget that
a) the only reason why Westerners will believe it is because they want to believe it - they are not being brainwashed and this is not some masterful propaganda being weaved around us to turn kind-hearted people into monsters,
b) no Westerner opinions matter at all. In most Western countries there is no real anti-Israel option to vote for even if they did realize that Israel was a giant factory for crimes against humanity, and Westerners protesting against things in general almost never achieves anything (tens of millions protested for BLM in 2020 and not only did the situation not change, it got worse), and
c) the people whose opinions do matter (both the people in the region, and the leaders who aren't already Zionist compradors) already know that Israel is full of shit and that they just murdered nearly a thousand civilians in a single bomb attack.
It is despair-inducing to think that the genocidal Zionist entity is so brazenly, so smugly getting away with bullshitting this away into a cloud of confusion, as they release their metaphorical squid ink just like they did with the stupid babies story, but the propaganda and the media narrative that they are creating isn't what matters. It cannot address the fundamental contradictions ripping the country, the region, and the world apart any more than masterfully-applied makeup can fix a stab wound. It can merely obfuscate.
Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:
UNRWA daily-ish reports on Israel's destruction and siege of Gaza and the West Bank.
English-language Palestinian Marxist-Leninist twitter account. Alt here.
English-language twitter account that collates news (and has automated posting when the person running it goes to sleep).
Arab-language twitter account with videos and images of fighting.
English-language (with some Arab retweets) Twitter account based in Lebanon.
English-language Palestinian Twitter account which reports on news from the Resistance Axis.

Various sources that are covering the Ukraine conflict are also covering the one in Palestine, like Rybar.
The Country of the Week is still Palestine! Feel free to chime in with books, essays, longform articles, even stories and anecdotes or rants.
Here is the map of the Ukraine conflict, courtesy of Wikipedia.
The weekly update isn't coming because I'm sick and too focussed on the collapse of the Zionist entity.

Resources For Understanding The War
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Telegram Channels
Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.
Pro-Russian
https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.
https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.
https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.
https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.
https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.
https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.
https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.
https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.
Pro-Ukraine
Almost every Western media outlet.
https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.
https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.
Last week's discussion post.
Some continued and sustained strengthening of KKE (Communist Party of Greece) in the last 1-2 years happening. After getting good results in the last parliamentary elections earlier this year (~7.5%) they now poll at ~10% in the first time since who knows when . And that level of support has been pretty much confirmed in the local elections (for regional and mayoral authorities) where communist candidates recieved ~10.5% of the votes country wide if you aggregate and elected mayors in some pretty big cities/populous Athens municapilities..
Yeah they are still at best mid-bad on LGBT issues (tho improving at a very slow pace). Yeah their foreign policy positions are still only ~70% there with some ultra left analysis on China and a couple of other issues. Yeah they have other issues. But they are still a hardboiled Marxist Lenninist party with little to no compromise on their positions and historical analysis or messaging. Very well and stricktly demcent organized ,with deep roots and activities on the union sphere and increasing membership and young support. Pretty much immune to spooks , gladio like infiltration or demsoc turns.
Looking at the state of communist parties and movements in most of the west , at eurocommunism and in general the post war trajectory of most , youdont have that kind of party with that kind of support and organizational strength almost anywhere else. So despite its flaws i cant really complain too much and its a bright spot for sure.
Another positive is that with KKE at this level of strength any EU promoted anti-communist or even anti-protest legislative stuff (that we see start popping up more and more around Europe) is basicaly dead on arival and impossible to implement and will only strengthen it while if KKE was weakened and at like 4% they would have attacked already
I'm jealous honestly, in Bulgaria we don't even get to have succdems
In Blugaria the Communists even won the first election after the fall of the USSR, but that was unaccetable to the west. They were too good
last year I went google translating through their website and saw some vile stuff, like "homosexuality is unhealthy and confusing our children" "as materialists we have to recognize that gender is biological so transgenderism is postmodernism" etc, they're on my shitlist of people to never give the time of day
most of these articles going around are a bit old (3-5 years) so ,while there hasnt been some big turnaround, the increase in youth support and younger lower level leadership has made the party move away from such messaging which to begin with was mostly the result of boomer voting base and boomer leadership and not any real material analysis. You can still classify the party positions as class reductionist and wishy washy on whether they would support same sex adoption if it came to vote again but there has been some reapproachment of the issue. For example the party secretary was a guest in the prominent greek LGBT radio show recently and the rhetoric has shifted. Still not great but for a party that has only survived to the strength and orthodoxy that it has through ossifying their position and beliefs and refusing to be swayed by left and right social and political currents change will be slow and comes with the changing of generations. Also greece has the east european deeply religious orthodox church brainworms that have stunned social progressivism in past social experiments to. They probably arent worse on lgbt issue than most second or third world communist parties at this point but since they are big players in domestic policies their positions became more openly contested and layed on the table.
https://www.902.gr/eidisi/politiki/326464/kathe-anthropos-me-opoia-taytotita-fyloy-na-ehei-oles-tis-proypotheseis this is a recent interview on lgbt issues by the party ,pretty understandable by google translation, that shows that while not good the positions have bettered and evolved compared to years past and of course inculde the standard positives that an Communist party should provide (free and accessible trans healthcare even at young ages including hormone therapy and sex change for example).
Thanks for the post, nice to find spots of brightness in this dark time.
Could you elaborate on this or give further reading? So many communist parties around the world (especially in the west) struggle with this imo, so I’m interested to see how they’re handling it.
Basicaly very serious and dedicated ideological lessons and training for new members. In marxist theory, history, organizing etc. Often taking many months. With each new member being assigned ,alone or in group, in-party mentors and guides for a period. background checks. Often there is some vetting and crosschecking with close friends or family being also members. Very tight security in their protests and organizing events. Communication about important matters or decisions being done still in analog, often with pen and paper and face to face messangers. Very careful , almost to the point of being paranoid, of phones and lines being tapped or listened to, especially on higher levels. Also a large % of members still have 3-4 decades of organizational experience. They can sniff out sus behavior
Alright thank you!
I'm jealous. In Denmark the electoral successors to the communist party, and the furthest left organisation with any public presence, is the Red-Greens, a bunch of radlib cowards who might mention the word revolution once in their party programme but who are too busy triangulating themselves rightwards and offering themselves as unconditional supporters of any succdem administration to do make any effort at raising class awarenesses or organising outside of bourgeois electoralism.
They are constantly afraid that right-wing bozos will get mad at them for being too left wing and consequently they fetichise liberal politeness. When one of their candidates said that he could imagine a hypothetical scenario in which violent resistance would be justified, they kicked him off the candidate list. They called the Al-Aqsa Flood "terrorism" and apologised for having worked with the DFLP in the past. They support Danish membership of NATO because "there is no alternative". When the Ukraine war started one of their MP's said something about how Ukraine had been nasty to the Donbass and had broken their agreements, he was whipped into place by the party leadership and had to make a bizarre public apology. They even voted to bomb Libya back in the day.
And these people are the best guys we've got, it's all downhill from there.
