For me it's Dragon Ball Z, that was a pretty fucked up show tbh.

Like holy shit, all the characters are terrible people except maybe Gohan and Trunks.

So much late-colonial British era comedy was "that person wearing a dress is bad and absurd lol."

The parts that weren't were often "the world and everything in it (that has drifted away from British colonial reign) is stupid, unlike me, the jaded smart snarky asshole." smuglord

The Mighty Boosh had absurdity with a lot less "that person wearing a dress is bad and absurd lol" and also a lot less "the world and everything in it (that has drifted away from British colonial reign) is stupid, unlike me, the jaded smart snarky asshole." It wasn't perfect but I enjoyed it.

It does have blackface in a couple of episodes though.

Yeah it does. Not all of it aged well. Has some ableism too. yea
