Every single one of them that voted for Trump or didn't vote, got what they deserve. They voted for the leopard eating faces, and now the leopard is on them.
The ones that voted against Trump are the only ones I can really feel sorry for.

Trump is a malignant narcissist, and that was very clear before the election, it was also clear before he was elected the first time.
If you want a malignant narcissist as leader of your country, you are not right in the head.
There's no way they could have known. It's not like he had a history going back into the 70s and 60s of being a... oh, yeah. He did.
You know the joke in Back to the Future where Marty tells Doc the President is Reagan, and he says incredulously, "What? The actor?" Well, imagine going back to any point in the latter 20th century and telling someone that Trump will be President. Anyone would laugh, no matter what party affiliation. Seems we all had standards back then, even if they were still low.
The reason is simply because he's the perfect tool that the Southern Strategy dreamed of. They never had an idea it would work so well.
Spy magazine back in the '80s used to have an annual "10 worst people, places and things" issue. Trump always made the list, although it was more of an NYC-centric thing. Each listee always had a "mitigating factors" item and Trump's was always "at least he's not in politics". :(
My favorite bit from back then was that Trump once offered to pay for the funeral of a child who had been killed by a bear, and then reneged on the offer.

The DNC pretty much handed him 2016, and Biden handed him 2024.
The two parties are both trash, and the citizens just rolling over and taking it up the ass, doesn't help.
Trump still lost the majority the first time and got under 50% the second time. USA's insane election system caused much of it, as well as a failure of the campaigns to account for how it would play out in the uncertain states.
2024 was much more a media propaganda problem, although I agree they didn't do enough to push back. They could've used the presidency to force the message to be delivered along with evidence of Trump's corruption and they decided to "play nice" against the cheater

Not really, he was more amenable than Trump is to having handlers. And the policies he implemented caused lasting damage to the American system and to its people. For example, trickle-down economics was utter incoherent evidence-free bullshit that happened to make the rich richer at the expense of everyone else. Reagan was not too bright and had an utter lack of curiosity, was a racist homophobe, and was quite happy to be a pitchman. He was also a shameless liar, though not to Trump's pathological extent.
Trickle down economics were not incoherent, they were a lie. Reagan did not change policy every other week like Trump does.
I do not agree with Reagans policies, but it was far more than just listening more to his advisors, it was also choosing advisors that were actually capable.
So I maintain that Reagans policies were definitely way way more coherent AND consistent than what we see with Trump. And his strategy to pressure Soviet Union actually worked, Soviet Union collapsed because they couldn't keep up, and their attempt to do it, collapsed their economy.
Reagan also didn't ruin relations with allies, but he did introduce a lot of policies that are bad for the middle and especially lower income brackets.
You should look it up. It will make you realize how deep this goes. Can't help you with the rest, it was pretty clear, unless you also don't understand the movie reference. Which is entirely possible, it's amazing how many memes are shared by people these days who are clueless on the origins. A true loss.

Yes back to the future is actually one of my top 3 favorite movies, the whole thing after the first sentence was just such a load of irrelevant gibberish to me, I ignored it.
I don't see how southern strategy is in any way relevant to detecting Trump is a psychopath or rather malignant narcissist which is psychopath².

Thanks to all the DoD (oh sorry "DoW" /s) funded entertainment propaganda, play any Call of Duty game (especially the fun ones) and you'll start to get that feeling that to be a soldier is to have purpose, to fight evil, to become something more.
It's freaking dangerous. But heck yeah it's attractive as any deal with the devil is. I refuse to swear an oath to any authority but my Creator, but I'd be lying if I didn't sometimes entertain the notion that I could like, monitor weather in Space Force or something for 4 years and reap tons of benefits.
