I dont like state oppression being used against me and would like it to be used on my class enemies.

We have to stop conflating this with abolition. If I want to abolish slavery, or abolish the death penalty, it's not that I want to be the one to decide who is subjected to those things, it's that I don't want anyone to be subjected to those things.

That's abolition, everything else is a degree of reform.

Why yes I do want a stateless classless moneyless society. I definitely welcome some unforeseen development in social relations that demobilizes the bourgeois remnants without force, but whatever one calls the proletarian bodies that forcibly restrain the bourgeois remnants during a socialist transition, they have been key to thwarting counterrevolution in the past and present.

I absolutely don't imagine the existing bourgeois police and prison infrastructure being suitable for capture though; it must be dismantled.

What are the best books on police and prison abolition?
