And that’s basically it!
Have skirts not been a thing before?
I see. The tripping issue comes from the interior leg fabric. That makes a little more sense.
Usually people don't drag their skirt on the ground like the cuffs of those pants. It's a stupid design, the way to make them work is to model them after Japanese Hakama pants, but use lighter material.
Uh, you are aware that until recently, skirts actually had a hem, a removable/replaceable section of cloth at the bottom, specifically meant to touch the ground so a woman's feet weren't visible, right?
There are also entire cultural/religious outfits that to this day still touch the ground that are worn daily.
Just because its not a common sight where you are doesn't mean it isn't a thing any were else.
Some people's parents didn't teach them to fear and respect the escalator.
I hope her pants get caught and a bloodbath ensues!
Not sure but usually a skirt does not touch the floor.
Back in the day they did though, when it was fashionable
This a symptom of a society who didnt see LiveLeak escalator accidents growing up
Yess death to the flowy extra baggy ridiculous trash bag pants.
