If you get to a level of expertise you'll come to realize there's no simple solution and it's too complex of a situation to even understand."

This is kind of a litmus test for me if I'm going to get along with someone. Like, can you just condemn a bad thing, please? If your intellectual masturbation gets you to the point of going "well, it's complicated" after seeing the amount of death and destruction with your own eyes, then someone needs to burn every book you own and take away your computer.
Chinese Buddhists back in the day thought people were getting their heads too high in the clouds, so encouraged reading less and doing more to the point of burning their own texts and idols.
