Hello, i was wondering if there are any good indie games on steam to try out. Can be free or paid, i don't mind if there's no native linux build either (i play stuff with wine/proton anyways lol) and i don't mind the genre. I've been thinking of trying something new as of recent so i thought i might ask it here.

Thanks!

Ardor: Free deck builder rougelike ( lite? ).

Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom: 3D platformer collectathon where you are a taxi.

KilaFlow: Fast paced precision 3D platformer.

Frogun: Slow paced 3D platformer.

Brok the InvestiGator: Describes itself as a "punch and click" type of game. Dev has a spin-off survival visual novel called Celsius Strays in the works, with playable demo of the beginning of the game.

Corn Kidz 64: Fairly short collectathon that does a great job of feeling like an n64 title.

Oaken Tower: I have a very love hate relationship with the game and at one point got angry enough to leave a nasty post on mastodon about wishing the dev harm. Still recommend it, though.

Coal LLC: 2D game about going down to collect coal.

The Ourboros King: Chess rouglike ( lite? ) with weird pieces and obstacles on the board.

Mail Mole: No, you ain't collecting mail in this 3D platformer.

Omelet You Cook: Roguelike ( lite? ) about placing ingredients on omelettes.
