Is there an indication of when the $0.15 price was originally announced? That would give us a better idea of how bad this is. I don’t have a Bluesky account so I can’t see the original post.
Oh of course bluesky is copying one of the more hated Elon additions to Twitter
It's completely optional and disabled by default, I can't believe there are big enough losers to actually enable it on their own accounts. And of course it is stupid that it's a "feature" in the first place.

I mean i can kinda see a use for it to like stop people from off the site harassing you more easily, maybe, but I'd solve that by not being a bluesky posting lanyard in the first place
That's the stated use case. But all you have to do is either view the post with an account, or use a service like xcancel that uses an account to load it on your behalf. For example, here's the post from this thread: https://subium.com/profile/shoe.bsky.social/post/3mhswyoeqqk2e
Also the username is in the URL, so someone just has to look the person up!

yeah but adding a step in between does stop lazy people from doing a thing even if it doesn't stop dedicated harassment, I'm just saying i could see that angle but also think it sucks
