Beyond chemistry, their only physical encounter is a kiss at the end. Their brief emotional relationship might be inappropriate from the stance that they are both married, but I would say it's hardly problematic from the angle of an age gap. I however also wouldn't call Bill epic, because he never crushed any sweet young tang.
I realize you're probably not being serious, but this is my legitimate take, on one of my favorite "non-traditional" romcoms.
Yeah. They are basically two people who feel lonely who decide to be alone together for a short period of time.
