What I never understood is what the point of all the world's governments lying about the shape of the Earth? Who benefits from tricking people into thinking the world is round vs flat?
Without looking into it at all, I can almost promise you it's "the jews"
All conspiracy theories will eventually turn into antisemitism. Flat earthers got there immediately. It's one of the first reasons they give in that documentary, Behind the Curve. The film crew goes to a convention and there's multiple groups there blaming jews.
Yeah, it's "the jews have set up a Truman Show style trap for humanity and are covering it up".
It's to promote atheism. The flat earth would be proof we live in a divine fishbowl.
