My gay son who I'm putting my safety in so I can maybe catch 30 mins of sleep after severe trauma
He looks like a good boy
He's ESA and seizure trained! During covid lock downs I decided to train him to an extreme point and he took to it like a magnet. My favorite command I can give him is show me the drugs which when said he'll give both of his front paws and sit up straight until you say ",the feds are gone"
You trained your dog to have a seizure?
I have pnes (I will never call it penis) which is psychogenic seizures. And since getting clean off fent and booze I only have em like twice a month. Basil is trained to respond to early seizure symptoms and warn me ahead of one occuring
Ah, sorry to hear that; your dog sounds awesome, as does the training.
My wife has thise! Did you train him yourself? Was it difficult? What breed? Is that relevant? How much do you think it cost (ballpark)?
I trained him myself! Along with my ex spouse. It def is extremely difficult but since dogs can learn anything just starting to train them when showing seizure symptoms is easy! They can easily notice early symptoms like muscle twitching, it causes a ton of false positives since psychogenic seizures are different from normal seizures and present different each time, but my ex spouse trained dogs for a living it was extremely easy. If they have any books I'll dm you it.
I'm def gonna take today to relax and process more trauma with my boy Basil, but I'll hit up my ex about training dogs for pnes tomorrow and dm you if they decide to actually respond tomorrow
that would be so so awesome thank you!!!
He looks and sounds like a great companion, you're lucky to have him
