Haven't been in an ikea for years. What's the difference between a plant based ball, and a veggie ball?

Veggie ball is full of pieces of corn, bell pepper, onion, etc. It's colorful inside and out. Tastes heavily of those things too. The plant-based ball resembles a brown meatball in both appearance and consistency, but made entirely with plant-based ingredients. They're awesome on a bun with marinara and mozzarella.

Don't know about Ikea, but when I see this distinction it is usually because the item is made of specific vegetables, where as the plant-based is usually textured vegetable protein.

Ah gotcha, I'll look into it as wasn't aware of this!

Basically veggie balls don't try to look like meat, a vegan meatball does try to look like meat
