He seemed really low energy and not really committed before the attempt on his life, so I figure he was probably on the fence about running and this just pushed him over the edge. Usually the libs are great at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, but the republicans might be the ones doing that this time. Crazy to think that about a month ago Trump's victory against Biden was all but assured, and now the dems might actually be more likely to win.
