I won't be able to play Smash without the new one though. kitty-birthday-sad

I expect this is going to launch with a new Smash.

I sincerely doubt we're getting a new smash anytime soon.

1998 >2000 > 2005 > 2010 > 2014 > 2018

The longest gap the franchise has ever had was 5 years. We're at 6 years already, next year will be 7. I think it'll come as a launch title there's no way they haven't been working on it.

I still doubt theyll make anything more than a port. Nintendo would 100% tell people to drop another bill to buy the same game again

So, a new Smash title. The same 90+% of content they already made for nearly a Benjamin for the base game, plus all new DLC to buy.

We're finally getting Geno for real this time as the SMRPG remake tie in guys, buy the new season pass (game sold separately)

Dude said making the last one almost killed him. I hope it’s the end of the series tbh, dude deserves a rest and it’s his baby.

This all the way, like the Sora and Minecraft Steve additions should be a signal enough that Smash has run its course.

How about some new fighting games instead of rehashing the same concept over and over again.
