We got ours off Aliexpress (pretty sure all other sites are just dropshipped from there anyway)

Technically they come with the full OS and all the games preloaded, but their SD cards are very shoddy and you run the risk of losing all your data if you use those

Setting up a fresh SD Card took my husband about an hour for both of our consoles, so I guess it wasn't too tricky

noooo, that used to be my favorite subreddit to scroll with my husband and go "What the hell is wrong with these people!"

They had this great elitism about how a proper Goon setup needs as many monitors as possible, which is such an arbitrary thing to get hung up on when your hobby is watching porn all day. It was fascinating to watch!

This! My HR guy (he isn't exactly a manager or boss) even encourages sick days for mental health or if you're just feeling a bit iffy. The gain in productivity and happiness is actually worth it for the company. Plus part of the pay for sick days is actually covered by health insurance afaik, so financially it's not really a problem for the employer.

I'm 24 and I own one! Well, my husband brought it into the household when we moved in together. And he only owned one because is mother is an insane clean freak that will iron literally everything, even towels and socks/underwear.

We've used it 4 times in the past 5 years.

JS is absolute chaos programming and I love that way too much. You can just feel all the caffeine ingested by the guy who had to pull long nights to ship JS within 10 days. That's exactly the vibe I'm going for with my code.

I find it so dystopian that cars are one of the essential things to have when living in America.
