Linus shifted his content all towards making PCMR comedy now. Most of the jokes are too forced.

on Max or Pro chip?

I think the aluminum they use now is more resistant to cosmetic damage.

I go caseless + screen protector since my first iPhone and I remember having a lot of chipped aluminum or dents on my 6S 3 to 4 months in.

The 14 Pro i’ve been using for the last 14 months is literally brand new.

Glass back feels much more premium, I wouldn’t go back to all aluminum tbh.

if you turn on power saving mode when you’re doing light tasks the laptop runs forever at 50% brightness.

I find myself doing that like twice a month so it’s not a concern at all, battery life is phenomenal for the power these machines have while producing minimal heat and being completely silent.

People still get scammed in other ways, apps that are bad actors aren’t the problem.

If it didn’t happen thru sideloading an app it would simply happen by accessing a website.

what exactly is there to do on the iPad that you cannot do right now without sideloading?

the only thing I can think of is Apple’s $99 annual fee to develop for their platforms.

Nothing just did this to look like they were responsible for Apple changing their stance on RCS. They moved according to the deadline the Digital Markets Act imposed.

End of the day be it bad or good publicity they got what they wanted.
