That's the intended use; you're doing it right.

Depending on where you live and what your health insurance/coverage/system is like, you may be able to see a Speech Language Pathologist without having to pay through the nose. Some SLPs have experience with trans voice therapy, although most do not.

If you live in an area with a decent queer population, there may be someone who does (I'm assuming feminizing, based on your pronouns) voice lessons locally.

However for most if us masculinizing or feminizing voice therapy is going to be happening via discord, zoom calls, or something similar.

My advice is, if you're interested in changing your voice, do it. You can do this by yourself, but it's much, much easier with someone to show you the ropes.

There was some discussion of weight cycling earlier and I would like to advise everyone that weight cycling is not good for you, and probably won't do you any favors as far as long term body shape goes. If you like to read more about it, here is a short article.

If you are considering using pioglitazone for reasons other than diabetes, you should know that there are health risks associated with it (it may increase your risk of heart problems and bladder cancer) so it requires more care and caution than diying hrt. We also don't know for sure that it has any long term effect on fat redistribution for trans people so there might not be a real benefit in taking it.

Please take good care of yourselves. cat-trans

It's not stronger, it just has a longer half life than Estradiol Valerate. Both of them are metabolized in your body to the exact same thing - estradiol. In a sense EC is slightly less potent than EV, because 1mg of EV contains 0.76mg of estradiol, while 1mg of EC contains only 0.69mg of estradiol.

It sounds like you might be a woman. Thoughts on this?

Hell yeah, that's great news! trans-heart

It is kind of a blessing. We get to create ourselves in a way most cis people never do. cat-trans

That sucks. Did you consider using estradiol undecylate? It has a pretty long half life and some people do monthly doses of it. Maybe you could do a large dose right before you leave on each trip? Even if it doesn't last for the entire time you're gone, you would be without estrogen for a shorter period of time.

It sucks not being able to get documents that reflect who you are. meow-hug

Look, you're definitely trans enough to post in the megathead. meow-hug Also trans people tend to be pretty understanding of this kind of thing - maybe you should be more direct with your friend.
