Do you remember the NationStates site that was set up to help promote the book? Admittedly, I’ve never read it but I spent hours and hours playing on that. Thanks for reminding me of this, will add to my list!

thebroken is the legendary underground technology show with a hacker mentality that caters to the elite (or wannabe 1337) computer user using a mixture of seriousness and irreverent comedy. thebroken debuted as an independent online show more than a year ago and has been successfully downloaded over 3-million times. Each episode focuses on several subjects and is between 20-30 minutes in length. If it's shady or underground, it's thebroken.

Never heard of this film before, looks pretty good. I’ll have to add it to my watchlist. Thanks for the rec!

Bit of a strange pairing, but currently reading:

Schoolgirl by Osamu Dazai

Faster: How a Jewish Driver, an American Heiress, and a Legendary Car Beat Hitler's Best by Neal Bascomb

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

Kept it pretty lowkey in June, read only two books: Loop by Koji Suzuki (3rd book in the Ring series) and Osamu Dazai's recently translated The Flowers of Buffoonery.

Bean there, done that.

That's a good one. The prequel to it, The Flowers of Buffoonery, was just recently published. It's short, but I recommend it.
