Awesome you got to see them as well! They got big really fast, I saw them a year later at Alcatraz festival and that was at least 20x bigger and they were headlining IIRC. At that concert they had a canon shooting 666$ bills, I took some snaps for you. Tucked away between my record Ceremony and Devotion, the full live set just as I remember it but recorded in San Francisco.

Similar experience seeing Ghost in de Vooruit in Ghent. Must've been 2016, back when they were called Ghost BC. Don't really follow them much anymore, but that venue was on fire.

Edit - Also amazing:

  • Florence and the machine: amazing voice
  • Ocean Wisdom: whole club bouncing up and down
  • Macklemore: creates a rarely seen vibe with everyone
  • Cypress Hill: such legends even after all these years
  • Hooverphonic: insane voice and they are sometimes guided by an orchestra, so much power
  • Parov Stelar: with an orchestra as well and my god it's really something to experience live

A lot of artists sound way different live, I've been disappointed as well but these definitely stand out.

It's great IMO, combined with Samsungs GoodLock suite you can stylize anything about the phone, I used to root my phone for this level of customization.

Edit: I would buy the zenphone because of the size and package, but OneUI is genuinely good

Voyager allows me to add filter/block keywords but I assume that's only for posts. Don't see much use in implementing the same feature for comments though.

Just today someone said to me with full confidence "but that's not what ChatGPT told me, and they've always been right"

Welcome to ø Lemmy ø, a self-hosted Lemmy instance!

I sarted this Lemmy instance because I believe in the importance of having a decentralized and open social media platform. The ability to spin up your own server and contribute to a space where people can come together to discuss and share ideas without being bound to one platform or userbase is what has proven to be the most robust and progressive way of creating a digital agora.

This Lemmy instance is still under development.

What is Lemmy?

Lemmy is a federated alternative to Reddit, which means that it is made up of a network of independent servers that communicate with each other. This makes Lemmy more resistant to censorship, improves transparency and gives users more control over their data. Here you can find a list of all active and federated instances sorted by popularity

Federated?

~ Anyone can host a server
~ Servers host instances
~ Instances host Communities
~ Communities host wonderful people
~ Instances can communicate freely between eachother
This is the federation

What makes Lemmy and any federated platform so interesting is the ActivityPub protocol. This allows Lemmy, which is a content aggregator social media, to communicate (or Federate) with other types of social media, such as Mastodon (a twitter microblog style) and PeerTube (video hosting). Meaning any instance of the Fediverse can independently read each others content, without the necessity of having to use different apps and/or accounts.

To get started, you can start browsing communities! Find any Lemmy instance to create an account and Subscribe to Communities you find interesting or even create your own and start sharing content.

Why 0d.gs?

Short URL's have always intrigued me, and have owned quite a few. With ICANN explicitly prohibiting them, it's tough to find TLD's not only allowing but also having them available. 0D also has a significant meaning within my main interest field.

Any plans?

I am planning to develop on ActivityPub and this server, stay tuned!

I hope you enjoy your time on ø Lemmy ø!
