Actually making it to level -1 in SMB after finding out how to do it from the TV show Video Game Power. I needed my NES Advantage to do it reliably, but it blew my mind to learn it was legit.

Personally: to live in nice midrise in a walkable European city with a remote job I enjoy and two friends to hang out with.

Globally: for people to stop actively seeking ways to harm each other and just be cool already.

I'm a big fan. Have rewatched the series a few times in recent years after only catching it randomly as a kid in the 80s. Highly recommend Shooting Columbo if you're interested. Great website too pointing out interesting aspects. https://bonaventurepress.com/SHOOTING-COLUMBO/

Always wondered about this. Article is pay-walled though.

I always assumed it was due to gluttony being typically visible. Reading 1 Corinthians 6:9 and following, for example, you see several sins many sins which are more internal, or at least easier to hide. Sitting in church and looking around at the crowd, you can get an idea on any gluttonous individuals just by their look. Not always, and clearly you can be overweight without being a glutton. This though was why I reasoned we never hear sermons on this particular sin.

Kind of. I'm 45, and met my best friend years ago here in Houston. He divorced his wife and moved home to Scotland, where I've been fortunate to visit him twice. He's the ideal friend, though being across the ocean makes it incredibly hard to really maintain. We keep in contact, but that's all. So now I'm either with my three teen daughters or alone with the dog. EDIT: Separated from my wife.
