Hey everyone , so recently I started watching recess again , since its on youtube in my country , I realised that there are literally themes those are left leaning , there are subtle dialogs those are critical of slavery and columbus etc but it does not end there. There are episodes based on

• Criticizing monopoly and capitalism
• Episode critical of religion.
• Student forming unions for their rights.
• Student defying the authorities for rights of people and themselves. I find it hard to digest that disney , who is not even willing to pay actors and writers has actually produced that show.

While the communist party of India (marxist) , is not in power as of now , they have had history of winning elections, however there is a fatal flaw in their ideology , when it comes to fighting against opperession , while they agree upon existence of class disparity and want to work on the goal of removing it , the oldschool communists do not recognise caste system. For those who are not aware , caste system is a problem specific to indian subcontinent , it is like a dominant class of people who are called the upper castes ( tho in minority) , had deprived the lower castes , into not allowing them to get educated or get any other work that they were assigned at birth , by the family name they were born in . That kept the lower castes poor and deprived for ages. The CPI(M) is mostly flooded with the upper caste and do not recognise this systemetic opperssion that has been in place since ages !

I grew up in a household where my father since his college days was pretty much influenced by communism , due to which the time I was growing up , I had a lot of marxist , leninist literature at home , and there were few ussr imported books about communist ideologies ! Few other of my family members are quite communist as well ! So anyone else has similar background ?

Idk if this was intentional or not , he has got a cult following in the nation right now !
