They'd still love to cause a split in the Iranian leadership, this is probably towards that end. Make it seem like the negotiators are ignoring the Supreme Leader's instructions and hope there's an internal power struggle type shit.
I think generally this kind of thing is personal, like family or close friends and associates. Kidnapping for ransom is just such a movie plot thing to do, in reality the risks are ridiculously high and it just seems like you're bound to be caught if you're actually trying to exchange the hostage for money. Also why would you write a letter saying oops we killed her instead of just fucking off if you were just in it for the money, just seems like an intentional misdirect to me. My guess is it will be someone in the immediate family who did it.
The ransom was a misdirect, killing her was the intent imo
protestants deserve better from the pope is one hell of a take
When you don't have a coherent worldview it's very uncomfortable to think about the questions people on the left ask you, so refusing to think about it is the easiest solution. Calling people commies and reds and pinkos used to work but the bozos who came up with those are all obviously buffoons and liberals know it, so they stole "tankie" from leftist infighting and slap it onto anybody whose questions make their brain feel weird.
I do not understand a lot of the political fundamentals.
this fascist has more self awareness than most voters in the USA
Run For Their Lives, which organized the walk, said, "This is not a protest; it is a peaceful walk to show solidarity with the hostages and their families, and a plea for their release."
The journalist gets an F for not immediately asking what this person thought the best way to free the hostages would be. Guarantee it wasn't ceasefire now.
Most foreign airlines halt flights to Tel Aviv after ~~Houthi~~ Ansarallah missile hits airport
Major foreign airlines, including German carrier Lufthansa, France’s Air France, US carrier Delta and Hungary’s Wizz Air, on Sunday canceled their scheduled flights to Tel Aviv, after a ballistic missile from Yemen struck inside the grounds of Israel’s main airport, Ben Gurion International.
By Sunday late afternoon, only a few foreign airlines were still confirmed to be flying.
but for planes

Hey would ya look at that, Tik Tok is back and it's tamping down on pro-palestine content like the rest of the American social media companies are.
It seems like the newsmega has a lot fewer of the regulars recently. I miss the input from the users who are actually proximate to the conflict in Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon. Their input was extremely valuable.

The kidnappers would have to be very inept to kill their hostage, that's like the number one thing you don't do when you want to trade the hostage for money
