Right? How about this: I'll keep the swearing to a minimum if you remove all the religious bobbles from your desk and stop talking about God. You don't have a monopoly on being offended, and respect goes both ways.

It's not a defeatist attitude because I still make sure to vote in every election and do what I can to move the needle to the left.

A pessimistic attitude, for certain. But I'm still participating to keep the candle of hope burning. I'm not defeated yet.

So vote for the known nazi instead?

Whether you like it or not, one of the two are going to win and run the country. I'd rather try to keep it from being the nazis.

Flint, Michigan has some questions...

Great in theory, but there are too many people who fellate the god of tradition while stroking the hard-on of American exceptionalism and are unwilling to look at any other example of functioning government.

Not to say that everyone that votes for Trump is a Nazi, but we do know who the Nazis are voting for.

More or less damage than he's currently doing?

Relaxation is key. Remember, deep breath in to rest, deep breath out to in.

Is *that *what the spotter does? I always had a different impression.

And remember, who you vote for is private. You are fully capable of walking into the booth with your red hat and overbearing machismo, voting for the non-Hitler option, and then walking out to hang with the rest of the red hats to chat about your favorite liberal-tears cocktail.

The next rally would charge a premium to sit in the "splash zone".

A swaddled baby is anything but floppy.

Except maybe the head.

Not this time, certainly.

I'm aware that mammogram machines are torture devices designed by pancake enthusiasts, but I don't know if I ever thought about how it works for women with smaller breasts, and where that threshold is. Are mammograms only effective for B-cups and bigger (for example)? Are smaller breasts limited to manual exam and/or sonogram imaging?

Also, are there any correlations between tumor characteristics and breast size? i.e. are lumps in smaller breasts more dense than those in larger breasts? Are there different things to consider when doing a self exam if you have large vs. small breasts (will issues present differently based on breast size)?

Finally, guys, breast cancer isn't just for women. Get yourself a bit of knowledge about it in dudes so you know what to keep an eye out for.

I just moved into a new place and would like to take pictures of various areas and have ai adjust them based on input text.

For example, I'd like to upload a picture of my back yard and have ai paint the fence or add a shed or see if a new tree would look ok.

I've tried the GPT free image service, but it doesn't use the picture I provide, just creates an image based on my text prompt.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm fed on the 2025 cruise with my buddy, thanks to our scheming wives, and am curious if there is any advice or "pro-moves" we should know about.

Also, if you'd just like to share your experiences, that'd be cool, too.

I think a lot of people forget to check where they are before replying to things (me especially). Serious replies show up in shitposts and are then apologized for, joke comments are made in communities that are more serious, etc.

I was thinking it'd be nice to have the option to make me click through a confirmation of the community I'm in before crafting a data-driven response to something in an askmelolz group.

Bonus points for making it big and colorful :D

I only have a familiarity with Christianity and the "no other gods before me" thing. I am curious what other religions have to say about it.

If I'm paying for my goods and services with actual money, but using prop money for tips, is that bad? In my understanding, tips are given of one's own free will and would be considered a gift to the recipient, the same as if I gave flowers or cookies as a tip. I've also seen fake money passed off by religious people that looks fully real on one side, and has church propaganda on the other side.

This is a hypothetical question that came up when assembling a gag gift for my kid from my parent. I don't plan on doing it (though, there are some instances where it'd be VERY tempting...), but it does make me curious.
