I find the constant suffering of others to be heartbreaking, but I don't actually go around feeling heartbroken all the time.
Being desensitized by things I've seen on the interwebs over the years has dulled any reaction I might have, but I an still understand, articulate, and sympathize with those feelings.

I take issue with the title.

They are THUGS trying to break into a library after being told to leave, because they are there to ruin any positive thing there and burn half the contents. But yes, yes they are. They make great trickle chargers for large batteries that only get used intermittently. Or string several together and enjoy an ebike battery charger. I have a similarly sized and shaped panel I found somewhere that I use to charge my 18650 bank.
