Open question to the floor: what is the most "Ska" song I could send to someone? Like the most iconic or the most stereotypical "Ska" a song could possibly be.

Edit: I've got some listening to do, thanks for the responses, keep them coming! I've never heard of half these bands, and while Ska isn't usually my thing I definitely vibe with some of them.

  1. Massive amounts of politicians and car company execs gleefully hopping into bed with fossil fuel companies for longer than almost anyone currently living has been around.

"trying to grab to take a gun from a security guard"

Okay so obviously almost nowhere else is as insane as the US when it comes to firearms and therefore most people would have much better discipline when handling them and discharging or even pulling one, but the one thing I am sure of almsoy anywhere in the world is that you should NEVER try to grab someone else's gun from them unless you're prepared to get shot with it.

Dudes lucky he didn't do that in Texas or Florida.

I'll be honest, I don't believe that Israel waited for a "green light" from the US for a second. I don't believe they even bothered to check in the first place.

It doesn't matter because republicans will green light anything Israel wants to do as long as it doesn't hurt their bank account. They gave carte Blanche a long time ago.

All of this is a distraction, from both the US and Israel, for different things. Don't get distracted in trying to point fingers and play the blame game. All players here suck ass for different reasons, with the ones attacking and backing being top of the list.

Nobody asked or gave permission because the answer was always going to be "do whatever you want"

He probably didn’t mean to kill the guy

Are you his lawyer?

When you run someone over, you DO NOT have the defence of "I didn't mean to kill anyone", and if you have to ride over a curb to do it, you will never be able to convince me that wasn't the plan from the start.

Running this man over wasn't an accident. It wasn't an oopsie-doodle where someone got mildly hurt by an inattentive or incompetent driver.

This was "I'm big and I don't like this person for X reason, hahahaha run little man. Wait did that motherfucker just tap my car with his fist? OH HELL NO GET STOMPED ON BITCH"

I'm stereotyping the internal monologue, but the point is the same. "jumped curb, injured cyclist, cyclist hits car, driver decides to run him over in response" there is no way to spin that as "it wasn't intentional"

Idk if you bike on roads often, but I do, and I have heard this argument so many times after almost being hit (or ACTUALLY being hit) and it just pisses me off when I hear it. Nothing against you.

Every time I hear or read that phrase, all I can think is "BITCH I NEVER SAID I WAS TOLERANT OF YOUR SHIT"

I never could get into terraria, but some days I want to buy it just to support a good developer.

The first time I interacted with water and it did something in response instead of being static blew my mind.

Seeing my own reflection in a game hurt my brain.

My wife has issues involving texture and trauma specifically at the dentist office, so I usually accompany her to appointments. So far no office has had an issue.

One time though, she needed to have those spacers put in her teeth, and she told the dentist and hygienist that she would throw up if it was in too long, and that she WILL bite down if there's sharp pain, so use slightly more local anesthetic than normal and wait a little longer for it to work well.

They rushed.

She bit.

The moment I heard the cry of pain and felt my wife squeezing my hand super hard, I already knew what happened without having to look around anything.

I just said "And that's why we told you to wait longer. You were warned."

They were Super chill about everything, all things considered. I know I'd be pissed if I got bit by someone while doing my job, even if that job was literally their teeth.

I fucking love all the kitbash ships and shuffled part ships.

Especially the ugly kitbashes.

I always thought the nebula class was neat. The mission pod is cool. Being able to swap out for combat or sensors or whatever else you need by heading to a space dock, pressing a few buttons and waiting for the worker bees to swap them out in half an hour or less (or your dilithium back)
