Wow, that's terrible! What mod is this? So I can avoid it? What a weird thing! That I'm definitely going to avoid and not go check out.

Having been in the US military, I honestly think it would be about an even split between people who agree/don't agree but will go along with orders vs disagree/undecided but unwilling to murder civilians.

Of course it would never have been "all or nothing" but I think people would be surprised at where the split is and for what reasons people picked their side.

And I'm being completely serious here: I fully believe members of the US military would carry out a nuclear strike on US soil, as long as it was one of "the woke states", in order to make a point of "oppose us and we will kill all of you even if we die too"

"as evidence to prove this person sitting here killed the CEO, all the executives got scared and one even changed their physical appearance"

I don't see what the point of bringing this up, unless you are trying to present as evidence.

Monsters being afraid of lightbulbs being shone on their misdeeds isn't proof of anything other than the fact that they are afraid that their actions will get them the same body bag that their ~~victims~~ customers get.

They feel only the threat of immediate retaliatory killing and changing physical appearance were their best chance of preventing themselves from coming to harm, rather than getting people the medical treatment they need.

Honestly their best defence would have been to immediately say "oh thank God he's gone, we can finally start approving the much needed care we have always wanted to" and spend a week or two eating money until people are convinced they aren't soulless ghouls. Whether they believe it or not doesn't matter, they could have maxed out their PR but instead decided more money was the better option.

I've no sympathy at all.

In real life:

Staring out of my apartment window

see woman trying to open locked gate to the construction site across the street

do nothing because I don't give a shit

keep staring out of my apartment window

Look, if you have an aural processing issue I totally understand, but if you're just being racist against droids as some kind of hold-over from the clone wars, GTFO.

There's a massive difference between "GONK" and "GONK". They sound nothing alike.

Next you're going to tell me that ewoks could take on an imperial brigade...

First mistake: needing to use stairs to get to the bathroom

That's too far in case of an emergency. Sometimes shit happens, and you get little to no warning with certain disorders.

Second mistake: actually that's it. Just stairs. They suck when you wake up a 3am and need to pee and now you need light so you don't trip and fall.

I like my bathroom close and stair-free.

Honestly if MILITARY applications are what kicks renewable energy and mass storage into high gear, I won't be surprised, but I will be disappointed.

But hey, improvement is still improvement and if a military organization sees renewable as the future, they're gonna try to make sure they get there first. As long as whoever gets there shares the progress with the rest of the world, I'm okay with it.

But who am I kidding, it's gonna be China or the US and the rest of the world won't see shit for decades due to suppression of research and technology that would allow for similar specs to be achieved privately...

... How credible is my aluminum foil hat guy?

I must admit though, it'd be cool to see an armored combat battery sliding across a field to quick charge a tank that died mid-battle. 10 seconds of charging to get it up and running, and the battery moves to the next low power thing. I'm imagining a semi-autonomous hot-swap of a battery compartment and eventually recharging like modern airplane mid-air refueling. Insert Rod A into Slot A and wait a little bit. The faster they want it to charge, the more they'll dump into R&D.

Honestly I find Russian general's belief in a 3 day offensive more credible than that.

Nearly 1000 days later, even.
