only if it has one of the chipsets which will allow full DMA over the isa slot, aka the intel 8xx series

the intel 865/875 is the best one as it supports a faster FSB over the older 845 and 815 chipsets

they're kinda rare tho and if it does have one, the 845 with the slower FSB is way more common then the others

athlon XPs dont support DMA over their ISA bus. the p4 can with specific chipsets

androgen blockers are to block testosterone production, or testosterone's bodily absorption

when you take hormones orally by swallowing, most of it gets filtered out by your liver. this is why oral estrogen sits under your tongue for 20 minutes so it can absorb into your blood directly

injections are always the superior method anyway but not everyone can get them sadly

me with dev-lang/rust

i hate rust only for this sole reason of inflating my compile times because its used in little bits and bobs of seemingly everything nowadays

also the fact it mandates SSE2 cpu instructions on x86 has put annoying roadblocks on various projects of mine...

struggling with the exact same issue myself, looking for a new laptop but all the "linux first/FOSS friendly" options have zero low-to-mid range options leaving only a couple different 2000 dollar options to pick from which is just way too much money for me to be spending on a laptop.

i guess ill be sticking with my modded thinkpad t440p for the time being, its age is beginning to show but it still gets the job done as a web browser and media watcher

closest i can get you is this theme and collection of scripts for the XFCE desktop https://github.com/grassmunk/Chicago95

ive used it in the past for my own nostalgia purposes and it does re-create the effect pretty damn good, though it does get funny sometimes when you throw in non-GTK apps (or if they have the extra thick title bar, GNOME style, (god i hate GNOME))

another option in a similar vein is nsCDE https://github.com/NsCDE/NsCDE which attempts to re-create the CDE desktop look-and-feel from 90s and early 2000s UNIX workstations

ive used this one too and the paradigm shift in how to use a desktop can definitely be felt if you've only ever used windows-style environments. it takes some getting used to but the aesthetics are very nice

how could you commit such a despicable act

debian stable on my servers, for my desktop im using Nobara Linux which is just plain Fedora but it comes with everything and the kitchen sink pre-installed and ready to go (i dont have time to fiddle with my PC all day to make stuff work). its maintained by the same guy who does the Proton-GE fork
