From what I understand you're correct, those actions would not federate. We could ask them to purge on their end but there's no telling how receptive to that they would be esp if we defed from them. Unfortunately any change to that would require a lot of coding work that's not feasible short-term.

As for a timeline, we wouldn't be looking to do anything until next week sometime and we'll announce it well before it happens.

Putting everything else aside, doesn't the effect on the climate bother you in the slightest? Don't you feel that alone is a very compelling argument for refusing to engage with or promote it?
