I have M1 Pro 16” 32/1tb if you write to me and I see difference with my buddy 8/256 air m2 13” it’s just annoying

Lol yes, airs with 256gb has slower disks than 512gb versions

Get M1 Pro/m2 pro minimum 32gb of ram and 1tb. And get 16” you will have laptop that will feel like normal computer everywhere not only in you home with big screen. I have this spec with M1 Pro and it’s perfect and will be same in 5 years I am in college too haha

If you care if your betters, get m3 pro not m3 max, very similar but max use more ram etc. To do same things couple seconds faster but you won’t see the difference, I have mine M1 Pro 16” since February 2022, use Aldente, I have 93% health and easily with just surfing web I get 13-16h on battery every day, at harder tasks 8-12h never had less than 8 mostly 14h

That’s why I always turn off my MacBook when I put it in backpack, take it on sleep only when is on desk
