Don't use it until it's fully dried out. If you wanna be safe. If there's still water it can move around and get somewhere you don't want it to.

I heard it helps to put it into rice (sucks the moist out of the device) overnight.

Don't use it. Ideally open it and disconnect the battery and leave it to dry.

I don't know why people let their laptops get wet and then turn them on. It's wet, what do you think is going to happen other than a short circuit? Does it even need a question asking...
