That was my intro to Vonnegut and I rather enjoyed it. Enough to read more from him which is when I realized it wasn't a great book.

You should see the movie. It stars nic cage and he did it as a favor to a friend. It's fucking awful. funny thing though, my story is identical to yours. Had no idea until it was too late lol.

Govt pot. It's just a dime of sad Reggie that got marked up 100,000,000x due to the modern miracle of bureaucracy and corruption.

I just tried to imagine this and my brain kinda vomited a bit I think.

Thinking the words, "just calm down" in the heat of an argument with my wife will actually work if I just try it enough times. Mathematically it should but it seems math doesn't care about that.

I live in California and see maybe 20 every day. It never gets old laughing at them. Had a customer yesterday who owned one as well as a model s. The S was in his garage but not his toy truck. He was a douche so I fucked with him.

"How do you like your truck?"

"Love it, it's so sick bro"

"How come you don't park it in your garage with your car? Will it not fit?"

"No, it just barely fits, but I like having it outside so people see it."

"Aren't you worried about people fucking with it or it rusting? Heard they rust easily"

"Where did you hear that? This baby is stainless steel!"

"Literally everywhere on the internet, that's why so many people get it wrapped apparently. Also, have you taken it in for any of the recalls?"

"It hasn't had any recalls bro, this thing is perfect"

"Hmm. I heard it had like 5 recalls already, you should look into it."

"That's just haters taking shit dude it isn't true."

"Yeah, you're prolly right. This thing gets a lot of hate from like everyone for being ridiculous and impractical, but Elon musk made it so it must be awesome."

"Bro literally invented spaceships dude he's a legit genius."

"Pretty sure he didn't invent them. He just owns the company."

He proceeded to explain that he may not have made the first one but he'll be the first to get man to Mars and spaceships weren't cool until he made them that way. He used the truck as evidence of his genius and how he will be humanities savior. I was fucking speechless honestly. The only thing genius about this is he cornered the fucking enormous douchebag market so well they gaslight themselves into believing that we're all jealous and or too poor to understand. I spray for bugs for a living. This guy got water sprayed on his property and I don't feel even remotely bad about it.

The Signal is a full mind bender of a movie. If you haven't seen it or heard of it, go in blind. It's not a pleasant movie but any means, but a fantastic independent psychological thriller. One of my favorites.

Movie synopsis

Movie synopsisMya (Anessa Ramsey) and Ben (Justin Welborn) are very much in love, but she cannot quite find the courage to leave her awful husband, Lewis (A.J. Bowen). However, when a mysterious transmission starts turning people, including Lewis, into murderous maniacs, the lovers must go on the run

Two fallen angels who were ejected from paradise find themselves banned in Wisconsin. They are now headed for New Jersey where they find a loophole that can get them back into heaven. The only catch is that it will destroy humanity. A group bands together to stop them.

Because Harvey Weinstein's not only a creep but a total POS, there's no way to stream this movie on any streaming services and it's beyond Kevin Smith's control at this point. But it's definitely one of his funnier films though may not be everybody's cup of tea. But, if you like Kevin Smith, definitely watch this. Probably won't be up long but, who knows?

Teenage Reese has a love for virtual reality role playing and a knack for beating even the toughest survival games. But when a nuclear strike causes an electromagnetic pulse that cuts off all power, water, and communication to the entire western United States, Reese finds herself plunged into an all-too-real fight to survive. As pandemonium grips her city, Reese and her father set out on a desperate journey in search of safety - a perilous trek through a world gone mad where every encounter with a stranger could be your last. Propelled by the ingenuity and resilience of its young heroine, Radioflash is a harrowingly unpredictable apocalyptic thriller that speaks to our precarious present.

Cast: Brighton Sharbino, Dominic Monaghan, Will Patton

USA - 2019

Another Stephen King adaptation based on the book of the same name. If you 4 hours to kill it's a good time!

Very cheesy movie from the Stephen King book but very thorough as far as adapting a 24 hour book into a movie. I believe it was a TV special when it came out. I've always loved this movie.

Another sci-fi short for you. This one is by John Scalzi and it is a great one in my opinion. Pretty sure there is a YouTube video someone made for this so if that's your thing check it out. Hope you enjoy!

This is one most of you have probably read or watched the YouTube video for. But if you haven't, please enjoy! The YouTube video is excellent but the story is great either way.

This is one of my favorites, it's an interactive reading experience sort of, but it works on mobile as well as desktop and it is really not what the title makes it sound like. It's quite an amazing read. Maybe a little too long for this place but thought I'd share! Let me know if you like it! There's a sequel as well!

This is one of my favorite short stories. I'm sure most of you have read it. It's pretty popular. Glad I found this instance. I'll be posting a few things that I haven't seen here. Let me know if I overdo it lol.
