I wouldn't know. I've heard like two songs from Daniel Kahn and Arbeter Froyen (Actually googling it, he also did a cover of Arbeter Froyen, so uhhh, 3 songs)

Czar wasn't an official position until Trump, prior to that it was an unofficial term. As so we can see the intention based on when it was first used, by who and about who. The answer is during the new deal, by the right wing press, about the executives responsible for carrying out the new deal.

Under Truman it came it be used by his critics as a term for his appointments not confirmed by the senate.

It wad always meant to evoke the evil Russia, and somehow also communism.

Israeli girl from my class thinks I'm either secretly a jew or some sort of Iranian spy based on my level of knowledge of jewish culture (All absorbed from tv. Most really surface level). It has made her less confident in making zionist arguments. So that's cool. I should learn more jewish facts.

Singing Daniel Kahn while working had her so impressed she's been asking around about me in the local Jewish community.

Addendum to previous post. Bathrooms at med school are also better. Humanities people you're gross, I'm a stemlord now.

It would make some sense given the traditional lack of value placed on the humanities, but it is not the case. Their activities being better and them having more art makes sense. Having 5 times the space per student, edible food and nicer outdoor areas just feels like rubbing it in.

The level to which the humanities campus is just better than the med school campus is geninely disturbing. Not only do they have way more cool activities going on (Wtf so many concerts and lectures on interesting shit), they have like sports equipment, nice areas to sit, actual edible food in the cafeteria for less than half the price, art everywhere and nice open spaces. I'm genuinely a little mad.
