Promenade

A short 2D Collectathon in the style of 5th Generation games of the genre. Jump into a 2D world and explore, solve puzzles and overcome challenges to collect gears to take you higher. A beautiful art style and soundtrack make me wonder why this wasn't talked about more when it came out earlier this year

The four people vote and you still drive off a cliff due to gerrymandering

Ah yes, my favourite underrated game. TGA's 2019 game of the year and 10 million units sold Sekiro.

This is the ultimate showdown

But actually for YTP quotes. "Gay Luigi?"

It suggests they can't afford to pay rent. It's an old stereotype that is kind of redundant nowadays since (a) most people renting can't afford it anymore and (b) different cultures are way more accepting and even encouraged living with your family. Most people understand that now.

You still here the saying buts it's more about NEETs taking advantage of family rather than being smart

Was on this weird rollercoaster gameshow where a group of people were attempting to make me press a button to give up. They threatened me physically but I was confident they couldn't actually hurt me or there'd be a lawsuit. One of them told me they would hurt me mentally instead. I thought I'd get ahead of them with mind games and press the button as if I wasn't able for mental bullying... All the people celebrated for their victory getting me to push the button while I pleaded it was a mistake of judgement and what my plan was. Obviously they did not give me a second chance

It was community chosen. So a lot of people trolled. There's a random dating sim in the"Outstanding story" finalists

I just imagined a world where for 10 years I told my child I loved them and then for them to within less than a year, stop responding and then actively shame you for doing so.

Fuck, I really wish my parents humanised themselves a bit more when I was younger. It took me far too long to rationalise that adults weren't different from me.

I don't think it's too controversial to suggest that 5e mechanics are not the strength of BG3. It would be arguably praised more if it kept the world design of BG3 and replaced the combat to have the spell scope of DO2 with the basic actions of 5e (aka shove, which arguably BG3 tweaked anyway to make it fun in combat)

I'll miss the design approach of the game but BG3 was just a big advertisement to how good a D:OS3 will be

I've been thinking about this recently and it's one of those innocent sayings that are quite insensitive. Growing up I heard this quite a lot, usually in response to being shy about asking someone out.

As an adult it's hard to view this as an encouragement when the flip side is women dislike men with insecurities, women dislike men who feel vulnerable when putting themselves out there.

I don't believe any of the connotations that I skewed from the phrase but it's better to suggest "women love a man who are brave enough to fail" as encouragement rather, if you want a basic encouragement.

Just wanted to shar this somewhere appropriate

I watch 0 sports and the terms sportsball makes me angry. To the point I've thought about a gamer equivalent to throw back. Closest I can think of is controllertoy

Sorry in advance to people who hate talking about it but Dark Souls is a very paradoxical experience It can:

  • Help you learn patience and awareness
  • Help you learn not to stress over losses
  • Help you learn that people have different experiences of enjoyment and understand your scope of interest in games.

It is sort of weird that it takes 3 romantic suggestions to be able to turn down Gale but at the same time the one scenr you see people griping about (the magic scene) which asks you if you want to imagine kissing him also asks if you want to show him an image of you ripping off his head. It's clear they are uncomfortable with their just being options listed for gay romance.
