What app is that?

Are you setting the multiplier value to the voltage? If so, that's not correct. It's not a literal value but a ratio.

On my Heltec V3s, I have been fine with the default firmware values (they're on the linked page below).

ADC Multiplier Override

Ratio of voltage divider for battery pin e.g. 3.20 (R1=100k, R2=220k)

Overrides the ADC_MULTIPLIER defined in the firmware device variant file for battery voltage calculation.

Should be set to floating point value between 2 and 6

Calibration Process

  1. Install the rechargeable battery.
  2. Charge the battery until full. Indication of this state may vary depending on device. At this point, the battery voltage should be 4.2V +-1%.
  3. Input the "Battery Charge Percent" displayed on the screen or in your connected app into the calculator below.
  4. If "Battery Charge Percent" (e.g., B 3.82V 60%) is not displayed on the screen, it means that the default value of "Operative Adc Multiplier" is too high. Lower the "Operative Adc Multiplier" to a smaller number (it is recommended to decrease by 0.1) until the screen displays "Battery Charge Percent". Enter the current "Operative Adc Multiplier" in use into the "Operative Adc Multiplier" field in the calculator. Also, input the "Battery Charge Percent" displayed on the screen into the calculator.
  5. Click the "Calculate" button to compute the "Calculated New Operative Adc Multiplier", and set it as the new "Operative Adc Multiplier" for the device.

The calculator is below that on the doc page: https://meshtastic.org/docs/configuration/radio/power/

Downvoted not because I disagree but because I'm tired of political crap in non-political crap communities.

Season 2 is pretty great. There's a hook in the last episode for a 3rd season, but I'm not sure if it's been renewed or not.

Colors -> Shadows-Highlights

Occasionally I'll need to use Colors -> Brightness-Contrast to bump the base brightness a little bit first. I also do it on a per-layer basis since the source images are all from different scenes/shots.

It's like phone manufacturers have run out of ideas and will do anything except stop making tall, skinny phones. I miss horizontal pixels and not needing a step ladder to reach the top of the screen, dammit!

Yes, but I'd have to crop myself out of them and I just don't feel like it.

Have to settle for this dog tax. She's the one on the left.

I can't speak for your situation, but I do know of too many examples of marriages "just because" that made both partners completely miserable for decades. And their disgust at each other definitely was not good for the kid to grow up around.

If she's someone you could see spending your life with, just not right now, then it's worth considering. But either way, I would advise against agreeing to a shotgun wedding and leave that decision between you and her.

Sounds like her parents are trying to force you into a shotgun wedding.

Ultimately, it's up to you if you want to go into a marriage that is very much going to be unhappy (I know currently and grew up around lots of terible pregnancy / stay together for the kids marriages) Personally, I'd just setup child support arrangements and discuss with her what role, if any, I would have in the child's life and politely, but firmly, tell her parents to fuck off (you're both adults).

Edit: And if she doesn't want to have a baby, I would also support and assist with that.

He's got so many good movies under his belt, but if you haven't watched Sneakers, I highly recommend it. Probably my favorite movie of his.

I never do Halloween costumes myself, but last year my dog went as "Dr. Pepper" (little white lab coat + children's toy stethoscope + her name is Pepper).

I have "hoarder" in my blood, and every day is a struggle to just throw things away and fight the urge of "that might be useful one day".

Made my 50th loaf of bread today in the bread machine. Store-bought bread averages about $2.50 a loaf, so 50 loaves would be $125. Bread machine cost $100 and I figure the flour and other ingredients for those was well under $25.

Here's to 50 more loaves of fresh baked bread.

I prefer to wait for an entire season to be released and binge watch it in one or two sittings. Most shows only get 10 episodes these days, and they tend to be highly serialized, so there's less catching up to do / remembering what happened last.

Only drawback is I have to avoid spoilers and can't do episode discussions until everyone else has already moved on.

I've heard it pronounced both "Dave-Iss" and "Davey's". I don't hear the names often but I see them regularly and never know how to pronounce them. The only one I'm sure about is Alan Davies (Dave-Iss) because of QI.

A fascinating look back at the potential 'Star Trek' sequel TV show includes some incredible imaginings of what the new USS 'Enterprise' may have looked like.

The existence of Star Trek: Phase II—the plans for a Star Trek continuation series in the mid-1970s that eventually gave way to Star Trek: The Motion Picture—has been known for a very long time at this point. We’ve seen concept art, we’ve seen story ideas, and we’ve seen it for long enough to see how those nuggets have gone on to influence the Star Trek that we would go on to get for another 50 years. And yet, there’s still plenty to enjoy in this new documentary about the bumpy road Star Trek almost made on the journey home back to our screens.

My only complaint about the Ro Laren episodes is that there weren't more Ro Laren episodes.

Yes, I'm aware I can curse on the internet - it's not my first day here. I use the exact words I mean to use, and I'm more a fan of the precision F-strike than indiscriminately carpet-bombing the place with "fucks". Stop word-policing me (and others).

Edited to add alt text.

Yeah, this went over about as well as expected. And the irony and hypocrisy of the free speech absolutists coming out of the woodwork to tell us all what we can and can't say is not lost on me.
