The only other on I've seen was with Urgent Courier's, really handy when expecting a package requiring signature.

Try removung the # from infront of POSTGRES_USER, this designates it as a comment.

Red Hat mid 90s and then Slackware, Red Hat was more polished but I learnt so much more from Slackware.
