That's actually a good example of why he's not a neolib. Neoliberals see trade imbalances as a neutral or even a good thing.
Feline
on western companies to acknowledge the current world context, and start dropping their neoliberal paradigm since this is a do or die moment for them.
Western companies abandoning neoliberalism
To ideologically align with the fascists in power
Mag lights
You mean a fash light?
Actually, now you're the Boss of that gym. You must defend your position
Even before results started coming in, the difference between election night rallies was obvious. Kamala had the bigger production, but the crowd seemed dead in comparison. Like they were just there for a free concert
So, combining this federal regulation and the federal law regarding warrantless vehicle searches, CBP claims authority to board a bus or train without a warrant anywhere within this 100-mile zone. Two-thirds of the U.S. population, or about 200 million people, reside within this expanded border region, according to the 2010 census. Most of the 10 largest cities in the U.S., such as New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago, fall in this region. Some states, like Florida, lie entirely within this border band so their entire populations are impacted.
Also speaks to how Democrats can't even perform anti-war rhetoric. Kamala and Trump were both about equal in how they talked about the Gaza genocide (different styles, but still just gesturing that something is bad here without pointing fingers). But on Ukraine, you have Democrats absolutely cheering on the war.
Initial stage of the war? Sure, NATO support could've put Ukraine in a stronger position to negotiate peace and prevent as large an illegal land grab. But, no. All political/diplomatic possibilities were taken off the table, while Zelensky and Biden were possessed by WWI generals with a love of trench warfare and stalemates.
In Michigan, Mr. Trumpβs victory was mainly a result of the drop-off in Wayne County, home to Detroit and diverse suburbs like Dearborn and Hamtramck that supply the state with its most significant source of Democratic votes.
While Ms. Harris easily won Wayne County, she did it with 61,000 fewer votes than Mr. Biden had, a decline of about 10 percent, while Mr. Trump added 24,000 votes, a jump of about 9 percent.
That swing limited Ms. Harrisβs hopes of winning Michigan, where Mr. Trump was ahead by about 81,000 votes.
So close! Mentioning some of the most Muslim cities in the US, and absolutely zero mention of why they might not have voted for Harris
That's not what neoliberalism is. Neoliberalism is the ideology that promotes free markets and globalization. Trade deficits are an inherent part of the neoliberal order. The dollar flows out of the US, while the wealth and resources of the global south flow into the US. That's the trade defecit, and neoliberals have no problem with it. Neoliberals are the ones who did NAFTA and the other free trade agreements that more or less necessitate a trade deficit
