I don't think the Dems are going anywhere unless the Reps decide to say "fuck it" and openly embrace dictatorship. It's just too valuable to the system as a whole to have two options, or at least the appearance of two options, for people to squabble over. With a single party that's a single point to lay all your grievances on and a single entity to blame.

Both parties have the same ultimate goal of catering to the bourgeoisie but it's incrediblely valuable to have the optics of wider support.

He may be Homo sapien but someone who is that flippant about a genocide that he is currently condoning has forsaken any connection to humanity. I don't see how someone can say "sure you think we've murdered too many of your friends and family but have you considered it's their fault for attempting to fight back against those who have kept them in a concentration camp for decades" and still have any humanity. There is not a single ounce of compassion in that man.

It's such a bald faced admission that they don't actually care what he does, it's all performative. And I'm not just talking about Harris, all the libs cry "trump is a fascist America is doomed" yet go on living life like nothing is happening. If they actually felt threatened by it you'd think they'd organize or at least try and make the democratic party provide some legitimate opposition. Hell, if Harris actually thought that trump is the next hitler and this is the last election in America why not drone strike his ass?

The last few years made me understand Nazi Germany a lot more tbh. I (naively in a lib manner) used to not understand how they reached the point of gas chambers and concentration camps and thought it was essentially an aberration and that we could and would take "never again" seriously. Watching the rise of the Fourth Reich (arguments could be made that amerikkka was already the Fourth Reich but I digress) has made it clear to me that the majority of white settlers ~~would be~~ are apathetic to death squads rounding up "undesirables" for mass murder.

Real hours

I have a few but I'm not sure if I lost interest in them because I "grew out of them" or because I was massively depressed as a teenager/young adult (still am but now I know what it is and have better coping mechanisms, anyway ...) but trains, Lego, model kits, and reading were all stuff I loved as a kid and have been rediscovering the joy I get from them.

Yea I have the feeling that he'll use this term to make sure he won't be going to jail when he's out of office, I just don't see him as really wanting to run. Pretty sure he said as much during his campaign (like everything he says take that with a grain of salt)

Step 1 is already completed with the election of trump but that was the step with the most obvious odds. I have no idea how much longer Biden has in him so him croaking before January might be unrealistic wishing on my part since those ghouls seem to live forever. Same with trump, in a just world he would've keeled over dead from his Filet-o-Fish based diet but I have a sinking feeling we're stuck with him for a long time yet
