As a swamp person I can assure you there was no other way. Have you seen Stonehenge? The coliseum, the aquaducts? I mean, c'mon, it took how long for Europe to get a level of plumbing comparable to the indus valley civilization? Clearly we had help getting there. No other way.

I'm not sure if that show had it or not, did you get slimed? My ultimate goal in childhood was to get nickelodeon slimed.

(Finally something I can almost answer!)

So, I don't have an app, but I use this, and it's amazing. Takes around 30-45 minutes to set up.

Yes, Pipedbot, that is a YouTube link. Proceed with your public shaming.

a graphical chart you can link to the original spreadsheet and have emailed to yourself monthly

That's precisely why I'm not there. I'm too fat for the gym. There are women and Children present. I'd scar them for life.

ETA:

To clarify: This is not what happens, this is my own self conscious, self loathing behavior giving me excuses for not bettering myself. I am aware of my mental health problems, I'm just not dealing with them.

I have a friend with a whole host of health problems, including severe seizures. I was on the phone with him one night, when he said hang on, and I hear "oh, ow!" And then he starts screaming like he's being murdered. I thought it was like an extreme seizure. Turns out, testicular torsion. I felt so badly for him.

I enjoy sewing but am not good yet. I'll make you weird things for practice!

Clearly, there are 5 lights. I don't know how you could be so wrong about this.

I'm sorry you're going through that. I just caught it for the first time, and they gave it to me. I didn't know it was difficult to get for some, I'm grateful I didn't have to go through that. But I know what you mean about being the only one worried. I live in a county of about 30k, and the next county over where Walmart is is about 40k. Whenever I go out, I am literally the only person wearing a mask most days. When I went to urgent care to get diagnosed, no one wore a mask until after my test results came back. Like, wtf? Horse is out the barn, chief.

Honestly I don't think this is the way tech is going to go. Will it be possible? Almost surely. Will the average person get it? I seriously doubt it. I think it's going to be one of those technologies that people talk about, that the tech bros hype up, but when it comes to real world implementation, I think most people would skip it for something a little more detachable. Ar glasses/contacts maybe. But actually having a surgical procedure to implement something like this seems unlikely to me.
