Lol, we used those little transmitters that you plug into the cigarette lighter plug until several years ago in a mid 2000s car, and they're still sold and used by people. The funniest thing that happened was when we were overtaking a semi who had one of these, but with a stronger transmitter, so for a couple of seconds we were listening to the guy's random turbo folk music.

The hair tends to grow back with PCOS regardless. Some people have better results with electrolysis, but for some the hair still comes back.

I have a coworker who greets me with "Hi, what's up? How's it going?" and then just continue walking without expecting an answer. It's such a pet peeve of mine, lol. We're not Americans, we live in Europe, and this person is definitely an exception, but it still catches me off guard every single time.

My first dog died at a little over 5.5 years old in my bedroom. It was so traumatic, the stress triggered an autoimmune illness and I haven't been the same since (it's been 3 years and 3 months).

I can only speak for the bedtime, but for some of us, it sucks. My partner can fall alseep within a few minutes. For me it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a couple of hours, even if I'm absolutely exhausted. So one hour doesn't sound wild.

Yeah, I think my sense of smell in general has never returned in full capacity. I think it's slightly weaker. Crazy stuff.

IMHO, this is a very sensitive topic, and I'm glad I don't have kids for this to be a worry for me.

Smartphones became a big thing when I was already in high school, and social media at the time still wasn't this aggressive, but my father did monitor my activity on the PC, mostly secretly, and it made me feel anxious. This violation of privacy damaged my already shit/barely existent relationship with him. It's also why I'm so paranoid of secretly being monitored. You have to already have a pretty good relationship with your parents for this not to potentially mess you up, at least in my experience.

What the solution to this is, I don't know. Better digital/tech education in schools and at home would be a good step in that direction, but strict ad and product regulations should also be implemented, which - unfortunately expectedly - is being fought against (at least in the USA, according to the article).

One of my family cats is currently at the end of her life due to kidney disease. It really sucks, glad they're doing something about it. Now if only they could do the same for dogs.
