From the party saying that if Harris became president ' The white house would smell of curry'

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I never got the negative connotation with that. Like are we all pretending that curry doesn't smell amazing now?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago

It's a racist dog whistle

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 11 hours ago) (3 children)

~~MTG~~ said the White House would smell like curry...as if that's a bad thing. Tell me one person who doesn't love the smell of garam masala or fenugreek.

Edit: sorry, Laura Loomer. It's hard to keep track of all of the Russian assets calling themselves Republican these days.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It was Looney Loomer that said it. It was apparently enough for MTG to call out as being extremely racist.

Somebody needs to check MTG's eyes, lately she sounds like she was taken over by Mystique when nobody was looking.

IKR. I'd apply for a job if that was a perk.

Right now the only way you'll get that is if you work in an Indian restaurant, and bluntly, that would be a massive downgrade for me.

If I could upgrade my job and smell delicious food that I want to eat all day, and probably eat it too? Fuck yeah, there's no downside here.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Right? Id enjoy just about any Indian food because it's delicious....but the again I've also found food from most other cultures is delicious although different still the same too. Pretty much like people, well at least the ones who aren't assholes.

It's not "body order"

Just in everyone; we will now refer to the fascist buffoons as 'stinky and the couch fucker

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

What're we going to do tomorrow night, Couch-fucker?

The same thing we do every night, Stinky, try to destroy the world!

Kimmel then posed the burning question: "What did it smell like specifically? " To which Kinzinger described Trump's scent as an odd mix of armpits, ketchup, makeup, and butt, reports the Mirror US.

I hate to imagine being trapped in a room with someone like that.

This definitively was not in my 2024 Bingo card:

Republicans masking

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 hours ago

You've got it all wrong, they're fine with masks for certain purposes (lynchings, intimidation) but not for others (public safety, AntiFascist protest)

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This feels like an onion story

I sincerely doubt I would ever be within scent range of him.

[–] [email protected] 88 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I don't care whether this is true. Spread it!

Tell everyone.

If we have to create stories so that the American media actually has to pay attention to the suffering of people at Trump's rallies, then that’s what we're going to do
