I just had to find out what Moms for Liberty was. My life is a little worse for it, but at least their naming conventions have changed 0 since One Million Moms.

Yep, the worst kind of story. "Be careful what you wish for, because you might get fine print."

Main characters: make wish Monkey's Paw: gives wish and something else Main characters: Oh, the problem was me wanting the reasonable thing, not that I trusted a really shady entity in asking for it! Me: May I leave this planet now?

Don't worry, it will crack soon....

As an aircraft crew member, I can confirm: it is all vehicle types, it can be initiated by the vehicle or the ground person, and we all love it. Not really sure about the community size, it's not like I've ever known anyone I waved at.

Uncritical, naive, gullible... no, I think credulous works fine there.

I know Lemmy is tech heavy, and that still passed completely unnoticed.

Just so long as we don't put them on "reserved" land that we shrink every year or two until we suddenly decide that we want to take it back etc. I think it would be just grand to get a bunch more Palestinians in Palestine! For Americans, anyway. Immigrants are good for the economy. The Palestinians themselves might have better luck elsewhere.

I don't know who the poster is. I was just nodding along like "Yes, that is true why is it a hot take"

I guess I'm not online enough to see the problematic posts or comments, or the mods here are really Johnny-on-the-spot. So I have very little experience of any claims made here. The only time I found toxic content was in a dog sub, and the majority there was harshly against the breed currently begging me for belly rubs.

That was a tangent. But yeah, I haven't ever seen the fascists, but there are many possible reasons for that.

Similar. Riding on rollercoasters, watching wholesome cartoons, and reading good fiction don't feel childish to me, they just feel like well-deserved fun. Why associate that with childhood, when childhood lacked freedom?
